The sky was blue, and the city was lively. Birds flew high in the sky, and dogs walked on by with their owners. Cats perched up on buildings, and folks of all ages stood, both behind, and in front of shops. Twilight Town was a thriving place for teenaged rivalry-- and romance between it's citizens. Perfect home for the norm-- ya might say. It offered something other places did not. Fun and Surprises! Yes, in this world, things were never they appeared and something was always happening around the corner. Well, I guess all worlds did have fun and surprise-- though, none were quite like this. And on this very day, a certain someone was feeling nostalgic, both a good and a sad one. Because he remembered all of those fun times. Times when he was younger, and times when things were funner. This person was a warrior, and he lusted for that sense of battle once more.

He was a fighter who'd lived it all down, maybe not as exhilarating or as colorful as others. But he did. That certain someone was Ander, and man did he age. His outfit was now laced in delicate silks and covered by leather armors. On his head was a tied blindfold, though it wasn't hiding his vision, the cloth was old, from in which time he'd trained vigorously to become adept with sensory; his reflexes were nothing to be made a mockery. Ander was far beyond peak human now, and never again would he have his pleasures of ignorance. The pleasures of spouting about his strengths, when he wasn't anything. Of believing his talents obligated him to knock on heaven's doors and scare even the Olympians, but in reality there were mighty mortals like Jet Enduro, who could saber through him before even a blink... Oh how he missed those feelings, feelings of absoluteness. One tap on the side of his head; to pretend he was smarter than any opposition. Where did it all go...

It went down the drain Andy, and you'll never get it back; not like it was back then.

Pow! Pow, Bam, Smack! Whack, Whammo, Boom! noises erupted from a blue bat, a struggle bat. As the boy recalled those feelings. He was competing, and he knew he was above these guys. But his mouth watered for attention from the masses. For revere, just as it had been so long ago. Ander wanted to win, but without his powers, he wanted to win with skill. His brown hair, now mostly colored an orange due to rigorous amounts of time in the sun, swished as he moved on his toes, dodging past he enemy's bat. His own raising to catch the others just in he knicks of time, before parring them away. Ander had mastered arts such as Akihido and Hapkido, he was a reputed adept in Kung-fu and judo, as well as Jiu Jitsu. The tall-fit warrior was a walking animal in a battle of Kenpo, and his use of blades was just as strong. Kendo could only be determined the same based on his Struggle Matches, Ander was exalted, he was a swordsman. This fight would end soon.

Whack, Slap, Boom!-- the struggle bat hissed.

"Alright, you were a good opponent. But the reception for your loss is over. Now get ready, cuz' I wasn't even wearing my best colors!"

Still hanging out in Twilight Town, still curious, and the place was ever lively.  Today was a hit the other guy with a padded weapon and make him drop some point spheres contest day, also known to the citizens as the great Struggle Matches.  Yima hadn't seen one of these before and had decided since he was in town to take a seat on a bench like an ordinary person, no sitting on rooftops for the moment he didn't want the attention.

From the what appeared to be the first few matches there were clear winners, that is what happens though, you find out who came to play, and who came prepared for the game the tall blonde thought reminding himself of a tourney in Halloween Town many years back.  The memory gave him a smile as he state there eating some fresh popcorn cheering for the latest victor concealed as he was by raggedy clothing and a blindfold.  Maybe he could sense the place around him or heard really well, whatever he was doing it was working well for him. Yima was in hsi festival garbs so a top and bottom airy clothing with an opal white hue throughout, it was enchanted to protect him, but not heavily so.

The blue bat sailed an inch over the blindfold-wearing man's head. The event occured mid-backhand-spring. Ander used the tip of his foot or boot, if you wanted to get technical, to drive it upwards into his opposition's chin. The display was nothing short of amazing, not many struggle combatants could pull off upside-down uppercuts with their legs, while just barely missing a powerful strike to the face. And then landing a hand-spring.

Blue spheres were knocked off the enemy's gear. It seemed he was near beaten. Badly bruised too, but then again, who wasn't getting bruises from this game. Even Andy picked up some from previous contestants; this guy got him by a few surprises too. Just because they're suburban-- doesn't mean they don't play games. Ander reminded himself that some of the strongest warriors in all the worlds started off in this rural little town. Ander had to keep that in his sense. As easy a ballpark it might seem to be, no fighter should be underestimated in the slightest. Especially in games of competition.

"Checkmate, call it a day man."

Ander would say as he patted his clothes off and leaned against his bat, tauntingly. The opponent had bit his tongue and thrown his weapon some feet away, obviously from the force of the boot to his jawline. Angered at Ander's snide remark-- the struggler ran to pick up the weapon and they clashed bats a few more times.

This time the warrior was a more fiercely ready obstacle. Chaining combos left and right, his speed began to surprise Ander. So much so, that Ander was being pressed back, noticing this-- He used his same foot to spartan kick the boy. Causing him to hit the ground again. More spheres were knocked away.

"I like your spunk. But it looks like you're running low on those blue orbs huh?"

The boy quickly stood up and played off the moment to talk. Running with his bat once more to slam into Ander's right section. Red dots flickered over the orange flooring. But the blindfolded fighter was on a stage three, his durability was barely tickled by the hit.

"I'll commend your strength, but you have a lot to learn kid."

Stepping back on one foot, the man reared forward instantly like a drill. Brushing his bat heavily into the native. Causing the younger male to be sent airborne. Losing the last of his spheres to the orangeish brown-haired warrior.

A referee ran into the sabdlot and blew a whistle. Rasing Ander's hand up high. A winner had been decided. But Andy's eyes were trained on the guy lying in the floor. Such strength for a beginner. Was he looking at a future threat? That kid had some major endurance and talent. It was very strange to him. He didn't think people could train so markfully with bats and staffs. But maybe times were changing...

Kira watched the match take place from beside the ring. His "memories" told him that when she lived here, these matches took place all the time, but he had never witnessed one. He rubbed his left temple. For whatever reason, the burning presented itself as a dull ache here, and yet, it raged on whenever he went into the woods, so he merely kept his distance.

An orange haired kid landed an impressive kick to his opponent's jaw, and Kira found himself studying the boy and his movements. Whatever Aikido he'd learned from the Dusks in the World that Never Was paled in comparison to whatever this martial art was, so the fallen angel would have to watch his step around this kid.

Feeling confident that his left eye was going to behave itself, he locked eyes with the orange haired champion and began clapping with a wry smile on his face. A small gust of wind ruffled his black hand-me down cloak. He shifted his attention from the boy to his side. He wished Nyx could be here with him. The Dusk would have certainly liked to see this. His left hand stroked Sandhya's hilt.

It had been a while since he'd sparred, and, for some reason, he felt the want of battle like an irresistible itch between his shoulders. He wondered if the boy could feel his intent to duel, not with those blue plush-clubs, but with real weapons. He unfurled his wings quietly and jumped up into the air, aiming himself at the sandlot and furling his wings so that he dove gracefully onto the platform. He landed his dive by rolling onto his feet. A few silver feathers drifted past his face.

As the crowd began to clap Ander tasted his glory with great amounts of satisfaction, it was short and sweet, but he wasn't one to complain. Cheap thrills weren't something to get carried away with after all. Besides, Andy sought something far more in this day and age, something that would push his limits to their edge...

These thoughts began to plague his lonly husk once more. Feeling singled out, and unable to make a lasting memory. It was overwelming... But then, almost on que, his orange eyes locked with a pair of studious counter-parts. Blue.. They were blue eyes, irises that seemed to resonate personal longing. They were similar to his, the gaze was almost a complete copy of what he saw in his mirror every morning. The devotion to one's story. The longing, and how terribly powerful it seemed to grow... But something was different in this winged boy, while it emulated well, his interests were not in the same isles.

How vould you be so sure, one might ask? Well it was obvious.

Ander could sense it in the angelic boy's aura, he was searching for something dear to him. Perhaps something that was his, but had been lost. While with Ander Dezden, It was a search for something that he had never owned to begin with. Their goals were very far apart. Their ambitions could show no othera swer, except for differing paths.

But yet, as if Ander were reading Kira's mind-they would both stance seemingly at once, metaphorically and for Kira near immediatly. As for the struggle champ, he would be making it known that his understanding was evident moments later by tossing the blue bat to the side, electric sparks began to surface. Tensions heavy, Ander spoke out to the blue angel. As the bat bounced and rolled off stage.

"I've never seen someone with wings or feathers. Must be nice~."

Ander took a short bow to Kira as he spoke, and the crowd went crazy. Obviously seeing both competitors as masters of their own leagues. This would be an excellent battle, one of true color. The idea was fairly simple; it would a spar. The people watching though, would probably find this event extra interesting though.  Silver feathers, and yellow sparks... What an odd mix. At least, that's that thats what came to mind.

Resting on Ander's back was a Kanabo, a bat-like object with sharp metallic spikes. It was kept In a home-made holster of sorts when out of use. This weapon was longer than a struggle bat, was dark brown in color, but wasn't much different than the later. It was 'in simpler form' a beating stick, one that had met flesh before, but mostly was used to plunge into dark beings.~

The Kanabo had grown on it's wielder and now it seemed to feel weightless in the hand's of the warrior. Ander perked up to swing it to and fro, as he warmed up his arms. The weight behind this bat was actually quite heavy, but with his superhuman strength-- it wouldn't be hard to use. Ander decided he'd address the blue angel ahead of time, to keep things on the polite side.

With obvious exclamatory emphasis, Ander spoke up--mostly so everyone could hear his challenge. It wasn't really his style, but ehh. Perhaps Kira would understand for the time being. "You have an aura about you mystery man! I like It! I hope you won't mind if I challenge you to a round or two. I feel like with an entrance such as yours- you'll be a good match! I don't usually get to put on for my crowds, so maybe we can spice things up a bit?" The orange-haired boy offered a grin to the blue-haired man while sizing the him up reasonably. He was unsure what tricks this kid could pull off, but something gave him a bad feeling about those... Silver feathers. He'd have to be careful in close proximity. Especially since his newer abilities had not been tested much. No matter, let the games begin!

Kira smirked. "It's not as nice as you think, boy." What was he referring to, exactly? Even he thought his wings were nice, but the meaning behind their color pained him, he supposed. As long as they don't get darker, he thought.

He tensed as he noted the spiked club on the boy's back, and was impressed at the boy's manners. He seemed to be kind for a human, and Kira appreciated the gesture. "I was thinking of a spar, yes. It has been a while. I used to spar with my friends and brother a lot. I am Kira Tamohara." He said, with a bow.

Kira shifted his weight into a somewhat loose defensive stance. His thumb once more graced Sandhya before drawing the curved dagger out of its sheath. The silver blade matched his wings, but it occasionally gave off a white glimmer, if one studied the blade close enough.

Kira heard the crowd jeering at him, but he shoved their cries to the back of his mind. He readied his blade at his chest and remembered going hand to hand with the Dusks. He wanted to be light on his feet, and his goal was to stay away from the weighty club the kid had.

Fortunately, the reach on the weapon seemed rather short, but unfortunately, Kira's range was even more impaired. For a moment, he wished his brother--the bow wielder--could have been here. Kira contemplated using one of his spells, but he wondered if the sparks from the boy would disrupt it somehow. He took a breath, and began his attack.

He ran toward the boy head on, but quickly side rolled and flicked his weapon at the boy's side at the end of his roll, before he back flipped a few times to increase the distance between them.

Ander's eyebrow arched when he was called a 'boy', it didn't seem correct. At least, it shouldn't have been, appearance-wise Ander had reached the age for adulthood months ago. Not to mention he looked older than this blue-haired stud by at least a year or two-- possibly more... Then again, if this guy was an angel it probably meant he was much older or something. He guesed It was safe to presume, different species had different time limits. Back to the subject at hand.

When Kira showed off his dagger, Ander blinked twice. Blade user; hmm-- but was he a knife thrower? Or did he prefer close-quarters. On the mark that Kira charged, Ander took a step back on his pivot foot, where he then began a hurried spin. He was hoping the angelic boy would rush up and attempt to stab him where gis now charged Kanabo would be ready to meet said opponent's jawline, but he was surprised as he caught the last bits of Kira's plan. The weapon would be launched projectile style at him. However, this bothered Ander not. He simply continued his quick pivot spin. Mid-way he dropped his Kanabo so that the circular loop on the end caught his middle finger. He then motioned to sling it around his finger to spin even more. This would cause the bat to charge It's kinetic force and thus send the knife flying mucj farther than if he'd just batted it away normally.

The dagger would collide with the bat, and the sound of it knocking on the center was heard like a home-run in a baseball game.
The crowd watching looked to the skies as the dagger was expelled from the battlezone. Then, with slightest glint of a grin forming; Ander took off.

His sheer physical strength left cracks in the ground where his dominant foot had once stood, the air previously around him would explode outwards to show how quickly he was managing top speed. (And just how fast his speed had risen since his debut.) As a Level 3 his speed which was a five was now a fifteen, due to his growths and trainings. Giving him the edge to move roughly fifteen mps near instantly, so it was no time flat that he'd made his distance on Kira. Who, at this moment, would still be in the process of flipping backwards-- or just ending his flipping. Either way it was still a pretty straightforward lunge.

Ander would reposition his Kanabo back into his hand's clutches and attempt slamming his new sparring buddy with it across the mid-section multiple times, making good use of a sheer frontal assault. He would stay cautious of any defensive tactics and if Kira managed to slip around or under him, Ander's reaction time would more than likely be unable to stop any underhanded or split-second hand-to-hand strikes. However, what he could do was was activate his thunder-magic if any physical contact was made upon him. Which was halfway what he was hoping for. Kira wouldn't be in league to just hit him with jabs, seeing is how the Kanabo was being slung at his body rapidly. He was pretty convinced that he was in control of the situation.

Hopefully that dagger wasn't summonable, or else things might prove a little more difficult. On the brighter side, difficult meant fun, after all.

Kira tucked his dagger to his chest and leaned away from Ander's spinning weapon, popping his body into a back flip on the spot. The wind from Ander's Kanabo sent a hair-raising thrill through Kira's body. He had expected his opponent to continue on the offensive, and was not taken aback by the strikes at his mid section. Kira leapt back and to the right.

The weapon tore at Kira's cloak with sound akin to a shriek, but, other than some sewing, Kira remained unfazed. He rolled toward Ander again and sliced his dagger at the boy's ankle. As he stood to his feet, positioning himself behind the boy, Kira sheathed Sandhya and grappled his opponent's shoulder and neck with his arm. He twisted his body in such a way as to throw Ander to the ground should his grapple connect. He unfurled his wings and knelt down, wondering how his opponent would react.

Kira was fast, real fast. Ander would narrow his eyes as his kanabo ripped a large hole in the opponent's clothing. He had missed, but with all these dodging motions being used at once it didn't surprise Ander that his one-two, one-two combos were simply being brushed off.

Just as he seemed to slow down, Kira made a dive under him and sliced his dagger across the warrior's ancle. Ander would admit it stinged, but that wouldn't bother him all to greatly.

When he felt Kira pulling him to the ground in a now well-made grapple Ander released his Kanabo and pressed all ten finger against Kira's head behind him.

"Eat this Chris Angel."

The orange-haired warrior's hands lit up with electricity and high power volts would shoot into his opposition without delay. Then in a dodge-roll similar to the one Kira had displayed earlier, Ander dove for reovery. With a quick hand-spring he found himself on his feet. Both hands raised defensively. Ander would be ready to put his Hapkido to use, above all others Hapkido was his favorite fighting style. Plus, without the kanabo; one coukd say Ander was much more versatile in his movements.

Kira felt his skull being pressed down on, and released Ander. He tucked his wings into his back, grabbed at Ander's left arm and tucked into a roll, releasing Ander's left arm, if he grabbed it, as soon as he felt the momentum shift.

This did not stop the electricity from entering Kira. It was too late to completely avoid the attack, but the angel didn't really feel too much pain from the attack, but he was a bit dazed. The sand lot split into two for a moment, but it quickly melded itself back together as Kira shook off the attack's effects.

Kira concentrated on a couple of spots. One was near where Ander would be if the throw was successful, and the other was behind Kira. The angel readied Sandhya once more and waited to release the nothingness, thinking of ways to lure his opponent into his trap.

Ander felt himself being arm-locked in mid-dodge roll. Outstretching his foot the boy would stiffen himself firmly into the ground. Preventing a toss and instead straighting up and attempted to pull Kira upwards before his legs and kick him painfully across the left rib. The force would be strong enough to send the angel at least fifteen feet away if his hold was weak. If he didn't launch Kira as he wanted to do with the kick, and the angelic boy didn't let go of his arm past that. Then Ander would electrocute him once more with his discharge before bringing a fist into the male's face.

Ander was able to do all these interruptions because his body had been trained to maintain this level of ability. His physical strength was a 7(lvl-3) amassing his strength total to 21. His dexterity and speed were both 5(lvl-3), eqauting to 15. Which was plenty enough to do what he was attempting. Unless prevented further, Ander would continue to drive forward with his incredible superhuman statistics and kick the angel while he was still airborne. Further knocking him back towards the building. Any citizens in the way would move ahead of time to prevent colliding with the foe.

"Sorry, but that just isn't going to do it man."

Kira slipped his hand away from Ander's arm and twisted himself away from the oncoming kick as much as he could manage. He still took the blow to the ribs, but instead of cracked bones, he would be dealing with at least bruised bones.

He gasped for breath, and turned his momentum to his advantage by unfurling his wings and using the speed of his flight to twist around and right himself. He ascended into the sky and snapped his fingers. The Lithium bomb, which should have been right around Ander's feet detonated. Kira held off on detonating the other bomb, but he did hover above the spot of the bomb a bit and thought of a taunt to make, but couldn't, so he just beckoned Ander to come at him again. He wondered how the boy would react to his amethyst eye, which stung a bit.

Kira thought of what to do next, as flight for the time being should give him something of an advantage, although he had to remember that the boy used electricity, and that could be bad for his wings. He contemplated rushing the boy, but he wanted to see what effect his trap would have first.

Ander witnessed his foot connect but only partially so-- he then watched has is opponent took flight, dodging away. Hurriedly, the orange-haired man bent at his knees to leap, but just as he got into mid-air he felt a painful explosion of metal and shrapnel pieces peirce both legs all the way to his mid-thighs. He fell before he even reached three feet. Down now on all fours, the boy winced and let out a few curses in pain. He plopped over and pulled a few pieces of larger metal out of his legs. This must've been like halftime in their battle. Kira looked down at him, as he sat on his butt. Ander met the angel's gaze with his own and offered a shakenned grin. Now that he was studying the guy more he noticed a purple eye, it was odd. Had it been there all along? How could he have missed it...

"You're an amazing fighter. This has been an honor, if I lose here today I'll have known it was to someone worth it. What say you, we finish this? I'm done holding back."

Ander stood on his feet an winced as the pain stung him. He bounced on his left foot then onto his right he walked over to his bat, and readied himself to jump. He knew Kira would've had the advantage in the air. But Things were just getting started. The warm-up was over! Ander's body lit up with yellow sparks of energy.

In a single jump, the air around him pushed away once again, only with much more force, allowing him to fling his body up at Kira-- in a quick gesture. As he traveled in a linear path upwards, Ander leaned towards his chest; out and forward, to spin. His hand's held his bat out as well. He began to spin absurdly fast-- so much so that his body blurred in his motions. The warrior looked almost like a golden ball of electricity in and of itself. It was obvious that if a hit like this made contact on another being, it would cause massive damages. But then again, since Kira was in the air, he probably had the ability to maneuver away from the bullet-straight strike Andy was aiming for.

Kira merely gazed down on Ander. He knew he had picked a great opponent. He acknowledged the boy's comment with a nod of his head, and he folded his arms over his chest.

Kira watched the boy curiously. He marveled at Ander's literal electric transformation. The glowing ball of a boy shot toward him with incredible speed, but Kira flew upward and backward from Ander. He made sure he was out of the blast range and snapped his fingers once more to detonate his second bomb. He wondered if the electricity would spark the metal and what the blast would do to the boy's trajectory. Kira, in theory, should be relatively unscathed, though Ander's spinning motion concerned him.
