11.1.2017 - Kingdom Hearts RP is now closed. We'd like to thank everyone who invested time on the site for contributing to a wonderful experience which lasted for many years. All stories must eventually end, but while this may seem bittersweet, it can't be stressed enough what a pleasure it was to create and share them with you all. Goodbye everyone.

Alexander awoke with a start. Around him, lights flashed and a siren sounded. "That's... bad I think." He jumped up off the floor-- this Highwind model of Tarsi's didn't have beds, so he decided a sheet on the floor would suit him just fine. Now, however, he was more concerned with the flashing lights and blaring siren to care about sleeping conditions. He ran up to Tarsi, who was in the cockpit trying to hold it steady. "How screwed are we?"
"Well," she said. "It could get worse." As if to mock her, a section of the panel next to her popped and sparked loudly, ending with a fizzling noise as smoke escaped from underneath the scant few buttons that rested there. She looked at Alexander, a grave expression on her face. "Nevermind."
"Where are we going to crash?"
"Crash?" She responded. "Sure, if the pressure doesn't rip the ship apart first." She looked back at Alexander, who merely gave her a blank stare. "Right." She started drawing her hand over a screen, inputting numbers and bringing up a map. A bunch of little lines appeared, and to Alexander seemed to be moving randomly atop the image before his eyes. Tarsi saw the exact place they were about to land, and uttered a very profound-sounding, "Oh, shit."
"What? Why are we-- why did you say that? Where are we headed? What the hell is--"
"Shut up." Her eyes stayed locked on the map. She looked up out of the cockpit at the ground hurtling towards them. Her next words were flat and cold. "We're headed towards The Great Maw." Her voice, still even-tempered, started to fade as Alexander started to black out from the increasing pressure. "Alex, in case we die, I want to tell you that.........
Alexander had blacked out before she finished speaking, and well before the impact. When he woke up, he found Tarsi unconscious. He lifted her up from under bits of debris. Hoisting her up onto his shoulder, he turned back to the remains of the Highwind. "That's going to be difficult to fix." He felt a slight chill on his spine, but disregarded it. He could feel something watching him. But regardless, he needed to bring Tarsi to medical care. He recalled a very small thing that Cool had said to him just scant few days ago while he had fought the Heartless alongside him and Mystic:

"Wait till you meet the nobodies..."

Alexander swallowed. I don't think I want to. He trudged on, his pace quickening. He knew there was a town here somewhere. He had to get there. Best not to tempt anything that might be hostile, especially with his friend injured.
