The Outside





LV1 | The Acne of Agnus


♇ | Effect | Serin manifest 8 orbs akin to boils on a person. They are 3 meters in diameter and are filled with a poisonous puss. When someone comes within 15 meters of the boils, they explode and release their poisonous puss all around within that proximity.  The boils pop and act as if someone came within range once the duration ends. If someone comes into contact with the puss, it will deal an average amount of damage for 4 posts. Whenever the boils pop, the puss remains on the ground for 2 posts. These orbs will just float around aimlessly around the area of origin without much deviation.

LV2 | The Lich


♇ | Effect | Serin is able to toggle a more Lich-like appearance. His manifests appendages identical to having wings, though they are just the bone. Regardless, this grants him flight. His hands also become razor-sharp claws relative to the durability of synthesis he may create. The frame of his wings also operate like this. In this form, he receives a 20% weakness to Light.

LV3 | Rat Plague


♇ | Effect | Serin is able to imbibe animate and inanimate objects with plague-like effects via contact or projectiles he utilizes. It does not induce any effect or damage itself. In living things, this manifests as physical patterns commonly associated with sickness. In animate objects, it manifests as random things such as a mesh of algae-like rot or discolored maggots, depending on the object. While on characters it applies to them as a whole, on surfaces of non-character targets, it spreads out to 20 meters. On non-character targets, it continues to spread 10 meters per post. This plague-like effect can spread from medium to medium, whether it be a character coming into contact with infected objects or vice-versa. This only lasts 4 posts on affected characters. However if it ends on one character and another is infected, they may get infected again.

LV4 | Plague-Father


♇ | Effect | Anything infected with abilities/spells/skills that cause any kind of illness, poison, plague-like effect, etc. are cured of that very effect and causes one of two effects. On objects, it heals Serin 5%  per 10 meters (maximum 50% healed), 5 meters if he is in his Lich form. On characters, it deals high-moderate damage. On objects, anything living or able to be weathered is shown as rotten/weathered. If a synthesis has a Durability of 4 or lower and is infected, it is destroyed.

LV5 | Artificer of Magic


♇ | Effect | Whenever Serin casts a spell, he may imbibe it into a seal of sort rather than actually casting the spell. This seal may be placed on a medium of some sort, character or object or otherwise. This seal the symbol of Pluto ( ♇ ). The Seal part of this skill is cast within the first applied spell and can be either the size of a dot or expanded up to 5 meters in size. Once the spell is cast, the affected medium is instead imbibed with the seal. While the seal is indefinite, triggering it initiates a cooldown on the skill. Only one mark may be used at a time.

LV6 | Oozing Edge


♇ | Effect | Serin may toggle whether or not his skin constantly releases a high-viscosity puss that pools around 5 meters around him. The puss itself is poisonous and on contact with it, it will deal low-moderate damage for 3 posts that will refresh after each successful instance of contact.  Puss that rests outside of the range of his constant pool becomes "dead' and dissipates.

Skill 2: Do these reflect his physical stats?

Skill 3: What happens in to inanimate objects that can't rot? Or is it something that appears on it?

Skill 4: Include that this won't exceed the 50% cap.

Skill 6: Could you elaborate what you mean? Living things as in random NPCs or summons? The contact/heal seems redundant and also a different skill.

Yes, wasn't sure if I should add that since they were appendages.

Uh, I imagine some sort of manifestation would happen. I.e. bacteria and stuff could live on non-perishable things. Also added how the duration works.

Oh, right. Will do.

Random NPC's and summons would count as characters in terms of how I use the ability. Otherwise it mostly means like plant-life. The healing is actually the primary use of the skill, the rotting and what-not is just a representation of draining the life out of said plant-life or other living thing.

Not a fan of Skill 6, as it allows you a lot of convenience and can easily be abused.

Using NPCs and the environment can easily be abused because you can conveniently say something is there and benefit from it without any real effort.

Can the ooze be separate from the body?

Yeah def something y'all are gonna be watching for so ppl who see dis bware

also given the weaknesses, yes. I forgot to mention I added a 20% light weakness to my Lich skill as Monte earlier said anatomical changes have to have drawbacks.

Supposed to do both. That's why it can be insta-destroyed by light.

I can make it cost an action to regenerate the ooze and add a cooldown before I can release more

after discussing, I've decided that skills cannot manifest individual beings with stats, as it devalues summons. this means the first and last skill are a no go. however, if you want to control chairs, you can still do so through passive magic, though they won't be able to help you in battle in that case.

The magic catalyst is an extra effect and needs to be gotten rid of.

"At the cost of an action, Serin may motion the puss to thrust forward at a target. It will travel up to 15 meters, moving equivalent to his own speed." This is an extra effect, also note that toggling it on/off takes up an action.

Some people have vivid imaginations and may not find it appealing to RP with.
