Updates
11.1.2017 - Kingdom Hearts RP is now closed. We'd like to thank everyone who invested time on the site for contributing to a wonderful experience which lasted for many years. All stories must eventually end, but while this may seem bittersweet, it can't be stressed enough what a pleasure it was to create and share them with you all. Goodbye everyone.

Word Count Progression

Kingdom Hearts Roleplay offers an optional word count based progression system, primarily for those who may want a more natural growth curve to follow for their character. In this system, in order to unlock all of your character's skill points and slots, you must write 60,000 words in character.

We do not have an automated system to keep track of word count like we do posts, unfortunately, so you will need to seek out a word counter.

Character Progression

When you create a character, you start off with 5 points you may distribute amongst your character's stats. All attributes, excluding Magic and Synth, must have a minimum of 1 point, but may not exceed 10.

Your character starts with 4 element, but you may choose to buy more. The exchange rate is 4,800 words for 1 element. For more details, check out the elements topic.

For the creation of spells/synthesis, it takes one slot per spell/synthesis, for one effect. To add additional effects to a spell/synthesis, it will take up an additional slot and will raise the cost of the spell accordingly.

Once you've invested more than 5 stat points into these stats, you will gain an additional exclusive slot that can only be used for Spells/Synthesis. You gain one for every additional stat point, totaling a possible 5 additional spell/synthesis slots with a MAG/SYN 10.

Your character starts off at Level 1 with 5 stat points, 3 focus points, and 4 slots.
Level 2 | 12,000 words, 10 stat points, 4 focus points, 7 slots.
