Myrus arrived at the the coliseum still looking a bit lighter, but still generally angered. He needed to find the girl, she died for him and now it was time for him to return the favor. He walked towards the coliseum's entrance examining it's structure. It looked very elegant for what happened inside. He looked around for someone to inquire about Kyra. Someone had to know where she was and how deep she was in hell. There was a large chance he would have to go down into the underworld so he planned on not going alone. He sat down near a statue near the entrance to wait. He needed to plan on what he was going to do, he needed to plan to get her back.

After a tiresome journey Leo finally landed his ship just outside the gates of the Coluseum. He exited the cockpit as the engines whined down. It didn't take the half wolf long to see a familiar face near the entrance of the Underworld. It was Myrus. He was hoping to see him here. Leo would not be able to attempt the rescue of Kyra alone with the injuries he sustained fighting the Scientist.

He walked up to Myrus, a plain expression on his face and only one thing on his mind, find Kyra.

"Glad to see I'm not alone for this mission..."

Myrus looked up at the half wolf. He was glad to have a trusted friend at his side. He stood up and looked around towards the entrance to the underworld. He stepped towards it slowly, pondering the thought of dying in this god awful place. He passed the thought and turned to head to Leo.

"Glad to have you hear, you know what we must do."

Myrus looked back towards the entrance, he needed to pay her back for her sacrifice. She died so that he could live, and Myrus was haunted by that thought ever since it happened. He just couldn't stop thinking about her.

Leo merely nodded as he walked up beside Myrus, acing his hand on his shoulder as he passed by, walking to the stairs that would lead them to the Underworld's gates.

"I never thought I would come back to this dreadful place..." he muttered.

Leo walked up to the gate keeper, a short goblin looking creature shrouded in a black cloak, the hood covered most of its face. The half wolf reached into the pocket of his own cloak, pulling out a single gold coin and flipping it to the keeper who quickly put it in his pocket. The keeper then proceeded to open the gates. As the old, rotted gates swing open a sharp wind would slap them in the face with a foul stench that Hades itself could only produce.

Leo took a few steps inward as his emerald eyes scanned his surroundings. It was any bodies guess where Kyra could be by this point but they had to try their hardest.

"Myrus, this won't be an easy mission, but when we attain victory, it will be worth it. "

Myrus walked up to the gatekeeper, giving him the fair that he required. He walked up behind Leo and looked for any sign of Kyra. He looked to Leo with a angered and despaired look, he wanted to find her, but this place dug into his soul. He needed to find her and get her out of here. It was all he could do. He started to walk deeper into hell itself. He had no idea what demons would await him, but he hoped one would be knowing of Kyra, or her herself. He just needed to find her.

Leo began walking beside Myrus as they began their decent into the abyss of Hades. The first corridor they journeyed down was long and winding, slightly turning and bending every twenty feet or so. It would eventually lead them to the first floor of Hades. The corridor would open up to reveal a large circular shaped platform with a pathway winding towards the bottom of the current floor. They would have to be as careful as possible because their was no banister or railing on the pathway for them to hold onto...heaven forbid they lose their balance or stumble...it would be a long fall to the bottom of Hades.

"Myrus...we must decend to the Pool of Souls. When a person loses their life, that is where their soul goes first, but we must hurry and pray we are not too late. Once a soul has been stripped of their former identity, they will travel from the Pool of Souls into the Tombs of Sanctification...I fear if she reaches those Tombs we will have already failed."

Leo was determined...Kyra was truly a good person, pure of heart if there ever was one. He and Myrus could not let such a person rot forever in the abyss; fading from history...

With purpose behind every step Leo pressed on. The pathway was wide enough for the two to walk side by side, but it was obviously brittle for when Leo stepped too closely to the edge, a chunk of rock broke off of the pathway and soared down the caverns until it was out of sight. He watched each step carefully, being strategic almost with where his feet landed.

"Eyes open...the awful fiends that rule this realm already know of our presence and they don't give up souls easily...the Scientist was a good practice...but ahead...that is the real challenge."

Myrus walked carefully down the pathway. He wasn't too keen on dying in hell. He needed to find Kyra, but being mortally wounded this time might be an expressway to death itself. Myrus seemed to walk with a angered passion. Only on the occasion would he stray from a straight path to avoid falling down deeper. He wanted nothing to do with this place but needed to get Kyra back from the depths of hell.

They continued to walk closer and closer towards the Pool of Souls. He held his hand at his side. It was still but anxious to draw his blade. He began to think they were getting close.

The atmosphere of the Underworld was unlike any other realm that Leo had ever traveled to...while he had only been in the Underworld once before, he knew that no matter how many times he could visit, he would never get accustomed to the bone chilling howls that erupted from the vast array of corridors, nor the cool temperatures...quite ironic he thought.

They arrived at the end of the pathway and were about to embark into the next corridor that would no doubt lead them deeper into the bowels of Hades when Leo stopped...his emerald eyes gazed around, scanning the expanse of the room they currently stood in.

"Myrus...something doesn't feel quite right...be ready to summon your blade at a moment's notice." he said in a hushed tone as his eyes continued to look out at the distant walls.

Caverns of the underworld were indeed vast seeming to go on as deep as places for the dead would be needed and god deep enough you could hear the faint echos of the dead.  Those dead required caretakers though, the ruler of this land Hades Lord of the Dead would be that jailor, and the realms warden.  He did also employ the work of a wide variety of servants from both above and below the grave able to pull people from their end back if he could gain something worth while in return mind you.  Souls were in some ways as readily used as a currency or resource to be traded and bought for the right price by that logic.

Being in the know here was paramount in staying on top or at least off the bottom of the payroll, best not to attract the bosses attention, and all that.  To bad an old soul was trying to sneak it's way out of the River Styx the red rotund imp thought to himself peering over the edge as his brother in arms stood back a few arms length cautious of the waters.  "We just gotta be ready to catch it right Panic", Pain mouthed with a little frustration on his wide face eyes scrunched over the florescent river.

"I hate it when we get this sort of job Pain", Panic said creeping up behind his short round friend peeping over his shoulder. They has just messed up the last little scheme their boss had and couldn't afford to fall further out of his favor... It would be best to think of this as being disciplined because they were worth the effort.... yes that must be it.

"Think he will get there soon, this gives me the creeps", Panic said scooting back sitting down on a sharp rock to engrossed in what he was watching. Soon the blue imp shrieked jumping up sprinting in a circle trying to remove the offensive splinter creating a ruckus his leathery feet slapping against the un-worked stone cavern floor.

The lower the two descended into the Underworld, the higher the temperature seemed to rise. It was a much different form of heat, however. It was a dry heat...the type of heat that made the air feel almost non-existent for one to breath. Leo's lungs felt heavy inside of his chest as it became harder and harder to inhale and exhale.

As they approached yet another opening his furry ears perked up and stood at attention. He could hear the echos of two distinct voices that seemed to be arguing against one another. The half wolf could not tell how close or far the two creatures were...the slightest of whispers in the Underworld bounced off of every wall and could be heard from one of to the other.

"Myrus...do you hear that? We're not alone."

Leo slowly approached the next opening/doorway. He tried to place his feet ever so lightly with each step he took. Still the half wolf chose not to summon his blade just yet. He had to find out just who these others were that chose to join them in the Underworld...it could possibly lead to a conflict, but one had to be certain before charging in blade first.

Myrus summoned his blade, he was not about to die on a rescue mission. He looked by to Leo and pointed with his eyes forward while poking his head forward. His anxiousness made him draw and this could end up being his fault. Myrus's hand began to emit a dark feel and his keyblade hummed with death.

"For Kyra's soul."

His words echoed softly off the walls and he looked down towards the darkness. His hands gripped his blades hilt and slightly shook. He had a feeling somewhere they would have to fight the creatures of hell, and he was prepared. He felt that if need be, Myrus could hold off the attackers and let Leo rush for Kyra, as time was not of the essence. He was prepared to do this, but he was going to save it until it absolutely couldn't fail.

An echo sounded through the Underworld or rather near one of it's entry points. The sounds utilizing the mineral dense walls of the land of the dead resounded about knocking into one another distorting their message tangled up but still traveling ever so faintly. Almost completely garbled by the time they reached the early river styx where not but the souls of the dead could hear beguiled by their accommodations let the new message fly.

Pain the red impish creature near the edge of the long river of the living impaired got wind of a change in the murmurs they were spilling out. This was odd since in the underworld the souls would usually whine incoherently or if souls of particular will passed by beg for something they lost. Right now they were asking, "brung Freya bowl", to which the minion of the lord of the dead raised a brow.

"You think they want some of those herk flakes or hero wheels", he asked his partner.

"It would be just like jerkulies to get a cereal made s good the dead moan in our ears about it uhhhh", Panic clenched his little claw like fists becoming less aware of the pain in his rear with a place to put some frustration. With on final pull he was free of the spike rubbing his rear he marched over to the edge, "you won't be getting any of that today", with a finger extended wavy back and forth.

Another echo ricocheted farther this time lightly reaching panic who's ears were better suited to picking them up. For something soul.... maybe they weren't or maybe there was a soul that wanted a deal, the boss could really like that since he had lost out on some of the newer minions. Panic took a little time to ponder what he thought he knew scratching his chin appraising his thoughts.

Leo slowed his pace, walking deeper into the bowels of Hades' domain. Particles of darkness swarmed around his right hand as he prepared to summon his keyblade within a moment's notice.

"I'm not leaving here without her..." the half wolf growled in a low tone as they reached the next room. From here Leo could see the river of souls floating by. They were about two hundred yards away from the bank at this point and strangely enough he began to think this would not be as hard as he had imagined...or could he be wrong?

"Alright Myrus, once we get to the bank the real trouble begins...there are thousands, if not more, souls that are floating past in the river...finding Kyra's won't be an easy task, but I will not accept defeat."

With purpose in each step, Leo carried on, shortening the distance between himself and the bank of the river. It wouldn't be long before he took the plunge.

Myrus dismissed his blade and walked closer to the bank. Looking for any glimpse of Kyra, his eyes darted across from end to end. Inside, one of his thought was if it wasn't for her, I would be in there and not her, but would they have come after me?

Myrus shook his head and looked harder for Kyra, it was beginning to look as if they would never find her, but Myrus couldn't give up hope.

Leo, noticing the frustration on Myrus' face pat him on the shoulder. "Stay strong...this place wears on the mind. Hades created it that way...it has a way of confusing you."

The half-wolf took a step forward, the toe of his boot submerged in the water of the river. As his boot touched the surface, the souls closest to it began to scramble in an attempt to pull him in. One such soul grabbed him by the ankle, causing him to fall backwards onto the shore.

Leo quickly pulled back and shuffled to get back onto his feet as the spirits calmed back down and continued on their way.

"Do be careful not to get too close..." he cautioned his friend.

Pain shifted his thick head one way on the right to its twin direction on the right waiting for that soul that their boss the big cheese wanted to get to where it was going but hadn't seen it quite yet. What he could kinda make out was some bodies far off that were pulling out of the river which couldn't be good for resident retention. In fact that was terrible for resident retention he thought finger pointing in that general direction up river.

"I think we got a problem Panic", Pain said grimacing as he pointed none to pleased with the idea of being in line of one of Hades fiery tantrums or emm stress relief sessions.

"Oh great not another pain in my rear", panic muttered getting off toward the group at a trot legs turning into those of a horse as the rest of his body shifted picking up speed.

This horse may have looked like it was missing some of the finer details of an ordinary creature such as definition, color outside of the spectrum of darker blues, and maybe some peepers a bit easier on the eyes as unearthly as they were.  They needed to get to the bottom of whatever was going on and the sooner the better the little imp thought to himself sure his partner would be soon behind.

Myrus stopped at the foot of the river. and looked behind him. He looked around trying to see if he saw or just heard something. He wan't sure, being in hell didn't help at all. Myrus gritted his teeth and looked back to the river of souls. He didn't see Kyra, all he saw was the damned souls traveling to their demise. He wanted to scream, to the high heavens for answers, but the time was not right. Myrus summoned his keyblade which radiated with anger.

"She's not here, neither of us have seen her. I feel we are not alone, though."

He looked a the river and was tempted to strike at the damned in anger but only thought of the consequence. If he struck he'd be cast into the river only to die. He didn't come to die, he came to return a favor.

As Myrus spoke Leo's wolven ears perked up as he began to hear the sound of hoof beats in the cold sand. He looked directly left and in the near distance he could just faintly make out a figure approaching their position.

Particles of darkness began to swarm around his right hand like a hive of angry bees. The dark particles then stretched out, taking the shape of his Guardian Soul keyblade.

"Whoever, or whatever that is...I'm sure it's not friendly."

"Oh come on we need a plan", Pain told panic running up behind him grabbing for his legs before he could get to much nearer into eye-shot of the intruders taking a look too close to the river styx. Getting his mitts on the blue imp's feet let him pull his partner back admittedly grinding Panic's face into the stone floor as he thought scratching his chin with his arrowhead tail spike.

"I got it Panic, quick turn into a wheelbarrow", the red imp whispered to his partner lunging forward himself changing his appearance quickly and with red tint. Panic put on the appearance of a man in miner's plaid shirt with overalls, pickax strung over his back by a leather holder (his tail in reality), and hours turned into a comb over devilish grin intact pushing forward toward the visitors.

Leo walked forward, keeping his keyblade within his grasp as the figure began to take shape in the distance. It appeared to be a man pushing some type of equipment, but Leo couldn't tell what it was for the moment.

"Be on your guard..." he advised Myrus as he continued to walk forward.

As Leo approached even more he would find himself to only be a mere hundred yards away and could easily see that it was a man who stood before them...pushing a wheeled cart of some sort...how odd.
