Effect: Several vines wrap around large quantities of dirt, making an effective line of deffense. The vine/dirt/wall rises around him, protecting him from physical attack, (For a while, anyway.) and SOME magical attacks. The Wall shoots up within a fracton of a second of which he drops the MP. It's useful for blocking blunt objects, but stabby things and fire are bad. Sizewise, it's only large enough to ssurround him.

History: Vyers was in the Deep Jungle, when suddenly, a cheetah rushed at him, ready to attack and keelerfy him. After peeing his pants, he focussed on making a barrier with magic. The wall shot up, blocking the cheetah. After a while, the cheetah grew bored, and gave him up. He made sure to perfect this spell, so as to not get pwn't later.

for how long and how strong

Until it's broken, and it's DIRT wrapped up in VINES. I'd guess not too strong.

well since you say it like that most the people here can smash through it in one hit...

...It's like... it could block BLUNT things... but it'd be suceptable to pointy things, fire, and other stuffs.
