Taking the Sand Trap (HT) Empty Taking the Sand Trap (HT)

Post by Zeferoth on August 2nd 2013, 10:03 pm

Zeferoth walked between the sandy dunes of the dessert outside of Agrabah. His black cloak both trapped in the heat, but it kept the sand from getting in his armor, so he was alright with it. His snow white hair blew in the dry dessert air. His crimson eyes scanning for any would be defenders. All he saw were a couple of guards barring his way to the city. He smiled as he walked to them popping his knuckles. He wore his demon bone armor under the cloak and carried his demon blade on his back, his scimitars on his hips, and the mini cross bow. He also carried his metal spheres and clenched his gauntleted fists.

The pair of guards noticed him and ran at him swords drawn, but Zeferoth only smiled as he easily kicked the first one away delaying his attack. The second one tried a downward slash with his curved sword which Zeferoth dodged, and promptly stepped on the blade keeping it down stepping on the man's wrist breaking it with a sickening snap. A gauntleted fist came up in a hard upper cut landing square under his chin. Zeferoth then sent a back kick at the man's face knocking him out in the sand.

The first guard recovered and came at him with a swift combo of slashes each one missing Zeferoth by a hair. Zeferoth laughed from under his cloth mask and caught the blade in his hand. He pulled it away from the man's grip and tossed it away beating on the poor fool. Once he was unconscious Zeferoth moved into the city. Each step took him closer to the palace one that he saw himself sitting in.

As Zeferoth walked through the sandy streets of Agrabah he kept his eyes open for anything that would be out of the ordinary. There were no citizens in the streets, which he would assume meant that they knew why he was there, and that they were not going to let him take control without a fight. Zeferoth chuckled and ignored the civilian population also keeping in mind to keep the collateral damage to a minimum. Zeferoth rounded the corner to a large square and there was a small platoon of soldiers ready for combat.

Zeferoth counted fifty men in the square each with a large curved sword or a pole arm and wore a suit of steel armor. The first ranks lowered their spears and charged forming a spear wall. Zeferoth just smiled and gathered darkness in both of his hands letting loose his chaos barrage. Ten blast of darkness fired from each hand causing chaos and confusion amongst the ranks. Zeferoth took the opportunity to charge in with his newest weapon Darkness Fang. He swung the large, heavy, curved blade in a wide horizontal arc taking a couple of the soldiers out in one swing. They weren't killed, but the serrated edge did leave them with some rather nasty gashes. He dashed in swinging hard with the blade using the curved serrated blade to pull the weapons away for him to strike at their bodies rendering flesh from bone.

As he was finishing up the first wave of soldiers the next group came in with swords drawn. Their battle cries could be heard throughout the city and the sound of clashing steel was deafening. Soon the battle cries were mixed with the cries of the dead and dying as Zeferoth started to cleave his way through the ranks closer and closer to the palace.

Zeferoth continued to hack through the charging enemies with his massive sword. There were a few enemies left, but he needed to stop using Darkness fang, if he had any hope of fighting for long periods of time. He put the massive sword back in its straps walking confidently towards the last surviving members of the platoon. They were scared. It was visible on their faces, but they attacked anyway. They must have such loyalty to their sultan, or great fear of him. Zeferoth wondered which one was he case. He took sever deep breathes allowing them to get closer.

With a quick movement from each hand he had both his scimitars out and parried one soldiers spear with one scimitar the other coming around in a side arc to cleave the man's head off his shoulders. His head flew a foot away and landed in the sand staining it red with his blood.

Before his body fell to the sand as well, Zeferoth was confronting his next enemy. The man's scimitar swung wildly just trying to cut Zeferoth, but to no avail. Zeferoth managed to stay slightly ahead of the swords fine edge and then stab one scimitar through the attacker's lung. Several more stabs came in quick succession before the man fell flat on his back.

Zefeorth's cheek was cut as an arrow zipped past him embedding in the body of the decapitated soldier. Zeferoth wiped the blood as he looked up seeing the archer notching another arrow. Zeferoth anticipated the next place he would aim and moved to the left the arrow landing harmlessly in the sand. Zeferoth ran quickly sheathing one scimitar to grab his mini cross bow. He knew he would have to get closer to hit him. Zeferoth leapt up the side of a building and fired. The bolt flew true hitting the man in the neck. He gurgled on his blood as he fell to the ground with a thud.

Zeferoth looked panted slightly looking down at the dead archer then at his arm. He saw that he got a pretty bad cut on it, but it looked like it wouldn't hinder him as he fought. He tore a piece of cloth and used it as a bandage until this fight was over. He continued on easing himself down back to street level so he wouldn't exert himself more than he would have to. He wiped the sweat from his brow and sighed. This place was just too hot for his liking, but he couldn't be too choosey about the worlds he could take. He took a drink from his canteen and rested in the shade while the city's defenses reorganized and were coming up with a better defense plan.

In the palace a sultan sat lazily on his throne surrounded by his haram of women. One of the generals came into the throne room and bowed low as he entered. The sultan was a very thin man with glaring eyes and a curly goatee. He looked away from the dancing women around him to address the general.

What is it General? He asked with an elongated sigh. His turban tilted as he rested his face against his fist looking at his general with the "it better be important" look. The general straightened and shifted uncomfortably in his volatile sultan's gaze.

W-well your majesty, There is an intruder attacking the city. He is laying waste to our defenses and destroyed a full platoon of soldiers single handedly. The sultan's eyes narrowed as he slowly stood waving his haram away. They recognized the look in his eyes and scurried off into their chambers before any blood was shed.

The sultan stood quickly and walked straight up to the much larger man before him. He put a hand on the generals shoulder as he turned him and lead him to the balcony. The general was scared now. He expected the sultan to verbally assault him or at the least try to beat him. The general didn't know what to expect from the calm demeanor of his often volatile leader. He fallowed none the less allowing himself to be escorted to the balcony over looking the city.

General do you know what I pay you and your men for? He asked distractedly looking at the city then shifting his eyes to the general, so he was looking at him with the corners of his eyes. The general had to think about it for a moment.

Ah if your highness remembers, we do not get paid--

Allow you to live for? He said cutting the man off. His tone was still distant and distracted looking at the empty streets below. He enjoyed being sultan. He was able to do anything he wanted when he wanted for any reason if there was one. You see general, we must not show incompetence to our enemy least of all to our underlings. If we show weakness, then they may doubt, which would then disrupt everything that I have worked to achieve. He looked to the general with a dangerous glint in his eye.

Of course sire, what would you like me to do? The sultan just laughed. It started from a low raspy laughs to a high pitched cackle. He smacked the generals broad shoulders hard looking up at the man.

I don't want you to do anything except die. A shadow flew from behind them and planted it's feet into the general's upper back sending him tumbling over the edge of the balcony screaming to his death. A man in the a cloth mask covered in black knelt behind the sultan.

The forty thieves are at your service master.

Taking the Sand Trap (HT) Empty Re: Taking the Sand Trap (HT)

The smell of blood filled the air, a delicious smell that appealed to the heartless as he strolled through the sands of Agrabah. Dozens of people had been slaughtered already by a single intruder apparently from what Nameless had heard and seen as the streets became lined with blood. Sadly these people were ignorant... For this intruder was the least of their worries. Checking a watch on his wrist he would let out a sigh as incendiary bombs began to burst, sand and blood flying everywhere. The screams grew even louder and a smile spread across the unnamed monster's face as he knew it was time to act. As flames consumed the buildings around the area he unsheathed Death leaving his two daggers sheathed and beginning to slice through every man, woman, and child in his way approaching the intruder head on. A few guards began directing their attention towards him but in mere seconds they were hung by their own intestines right in front of their families, the blood of the armed and unarmed alike bathing the blade.

Finally arriving near his target he would simply not say a word and smile at him as the people of Agrabah's screams started getting louder. Many upon many burnt in the flames and their charred corpses were left to the rats of this damned pathetic world. Looking Zeferoth in the eye he would finally speak after a while, but not directing his opponent. Instead he began to speak to what seemed like himself despite the shrieks of terror drowning out most of words.

"Fenrir, pet of mine and son of Loki. Come fourth and bring chaos upon the mortals who dare raise a blade against me. Gorge on the intestines of the weak and make all in your path suffer. For the weak shall not live to see Ragnarök after you're finished with them."

Backing up the proper distance a large wolf would then be summoned as it let out a howl to the burning city, a howl so loud it would reach even the ears of the sultan's palace. Then its eyes looking towards its master, its mouth practically watering... The beast awaited its orders. "Don't waste your time with the weak my pet, feast on the flesh of the man before you."

The heartless pointed directly at Zeferoth as to notify the beast of who it was to attack.

For a few seconds Fenrir didn't do anything, ignoring its masters orders. However as its stomach began to growl and a cold glare from Nameless was shot at it the beast would turn its head to Zeferoth. Barring its fangs the beast was ready to dig into the flesh of this boy but before it could the heartless would interrupt it with two more orders.

"Oh and by the way, don't kill the lad. That's just too boring. Also let him have the first move just for shits and giggles."

Fenrir did not protest.

Zeferoth had already lost the hostile takeover due to not having posted since the 8th. Allowing this would be giving too much leeway, despite the fact there shouldn't be any in the first place.

Apologies.
