Skyrim: Dragonborn Destiny Empty Skyrim: Dragonborn Destiny

Prologue:
It was a bright and sunny day in Solitude where High King Torygg sat upon his throne with his wife Elisif the Fair by his side, the gaze of many falling upon them. He had gathered here today to answer the questions of the loyal citizens of the Empire whether they lived in Solitude or not. People had flocked from every hold and for a few die hard imperial loyalists had come all the way from places like Morrowind or Cyrodil just to be here for this day. Just as questions were about to be opened however a large noise was heard and the glass doors shattered falling all over the ground below. Every single person in the room would turn their heads with shocked expressions or just plain fear across their face, it was clear that whoever was interrupting knew the tongue of the dragons and as such they were not someone to be messed with. Then they entered, their hood dropping to the ground which only served to shock people more as a legend of a nord had been the one who had used it. The guards would unsheathe their swords and load their guns as the Torygg with a shocked expression on his face would mutter out the name of the individual before him. "Ulfric Stormcloak...

Meanwhile in the shadiest corners of Solitude we had our hero for the story, Aeroth Silverblade, a dark elf skooma addict who had fallen into pure depression and was now living in a box on the side of the road. Aeroth himself wasn't always like this, a year ago he had a good job as a mercenary and historian who was living a normal life. One day in the Bannered Mare however he had accidently grabbed the wrong mead bottle which happened to be full of skooma and moon sugar. From there he slowly started losing everything from his friends, to his gold, to his house, and eventually after spending it all on skooma he simply stopped working as well. Becoming a beggar on the side of the streets he would use any septims he gained to purchase another bottle or ten to feed his addiction which was what he was doing today.

Before he could purchase anything however Ulfric Stormcloak rode by on his horse followed by a few guards. "Stop him!" The guards would shout as they pursued him and Ulfric would suddenly realize there was no way out... With the gate being closed as well as most likely locked the guards would catch him for sure, that was until one of them opened the gate. Balls of fire and bullets would only miss him, the jarl of Windhelm soon being out of their reach. The stunned Aeroth didn't know what was going on and before anything could happen he felt the back of a blade slam into his head the world quickly then fading to black around him.

So ends the prologue. I hope you guys like the story so far and feel free to ask questions, give feedback, etcetera at any point in time.

Chapter 1:
The cell was as dark and as cramped as usual on this stormy night, Aeroth sitting in it cold and alone. Not only had he not had his fix in a long while but he had been wrongly accused by the damn imperials. He had never been in good graces with the guards nor the empire but he had never been an enemy of them. What did not being their puppet get him? A life in the dungeons or at least his last days in here, for the elf wouldn't be surprised if he got his head chopped off by an executioner soon enough. After finally falling asleep it didn't take long before a patrolling guard woke him up though this time it wasn't by accident or to screw with him. "Wake up prisoner." The guard would say then simply stand there but no effect due to Aeroth still being soundly asleep. "Prisoner!" He boomed instantly waking the elf up. "Do you enjoy waking the wrongfully accused up in the middle of the night?" Silverblade scoffed at him, getting up out of bed and looking at him while tapping his foot impatiently.

"Say what you want, we know you were affiliated with Ulfric."

"There wasn't even a trial. Roggvir got a trial, yes he was found guilty but at least he got one. Why didn't I?"

"Because Roggvir was an honorable nord and you're----"

"And people say the Stormcloaks are racist." Aeroth cut him off. After a bit of silence between the two the guard finally sighed. "Where did you go wrong? We were best friends before all this, before the skooma and before Ulfric. How did you fall down so low?" He said and the dark elf didn't say another word after it. Following him outside the dungeons the dark elf sighed as they approached the carriage knowing this likely meant that this was going to be a long ride to wherever they were going. He honestly didn't know whether his head was going on a plaque on the emperor's wall or not but since it wasn't likely that they were taking him outside the hold itself for a change of scenery he guessed that his final days were upon him. Taking a seat on the carriage he would look at the guard who had escorted him one final time with a sad expression on his face. "I'll see you around Thronar." Aeroth said and with that the carriage took off, Solitude and everything he once knew soon disappearing as they drove more and more away from it.
