The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 6th 2012, 12:48 am

The luminous glow of the almost full tavern was like a shining beacon in the pirate town. Everyone was there, or if they weren't, they didn't belong there. Business was thriving, as it always had, and the owners of the bar were laughing all the way to the bank. No one else was game enough to build any sort of establishment to rival theirs, so the couple who owned it had an essential monopoly on the drunken entertainment for the town. And of course, drunken entertainment was a pirate's favourite kind. The noise emanating from the old building filled the streets all around, as it did every night, and as anyone stumbled out, another bearded man stumbled in to take their place. Candles and torches lit the interior, this world had of course not yet discovered the marvels of electricity, and the outside of the pub was lit entirely by the full moon hanging delicately in the sky.

But not everyone in the little building was a pirate. Oh no, some were different, some were much stranger still. One pirate spotted one such person, alcohol fuelling his confidence, he approached the blue-headed vixen with a glint in his eye. Sitting down next to her, he grabbed the poor girls thigh, preventing her from making any sort of attempts to escape him. The drunken furore occurring around them prevented anyone from seeing what was going on, although it wasn't like anyone would object if they had seen. This was the kind of thing the town was known for, there was no respect, no sense of moral decency. The girl laughed off the man's advances, her gloved hands gently pushing his chest away from her. But he insisted, pressing his lips to her neck and his hand to her breast. The woman was slowly growing more and more frustrated, she was here to scout the talent, not to be groped by some drunkard. Pushing him away again, this time with more force, it only seemed to encourage the vile old creature.

"I like a girl with a bit o' fight," he slurred at her, pushing his way on to her yet again.
"Don't do something you might regret." She whispered into his ear, pushing him off once again. She would give him one more chance, one more chance to run back to his mates with his tail between his legs. Hell, he could tell them he did whatever he wanted with her. She didn't care, there were more important things to worry about. But he persisted, this time with more vigour, which served only to push her over the edge.

"I tried to warn you, little cretin." She whispered into his ear again, he looked up at her, a dazed wonderment in his eyes. She only grinned at him, revealing the wickedly sharp points of her canine fangs. It was then that she moved against him, her mouth descending on to his neck now... but not out of passion. She ripped the flesh from his skin, his scream attracting the attention of nearby revellers but none were in any position to help him. Then she pushed him off her, on to his back at his feet. He was still alive, barely, as she slid the gloves off her delicate, clawed fingers. She fell on top of him once again, it would appear almost sexual if no one knew any better. A circle had gathered round now, some were yelling at her to release him, others were egging her on. It didn't matter, they would all be dead soon enough. She plunged her hands into his chest, gripping his beating heart and ripping it out. She was filled with an immense satisfaction as the organ disappeared from her hands, a figurative representation of the thing forming in it's place and rising into the air above. The man was dead, but his heart would live on to become a creature as wicked as she.

Slowly, the villainous creature got to her feet. The bar was quiet now, many had cleared out as the chaos ensued but many stayed to see what the woman would do next. She wiped her bloodied mouth on her forearm, her porcelain skin stained by the crimson liquid that had escaped the man's dying body.

"My name is Yukina," she said, her voice a half whisper, but loud enough for everyone around to hear her.
"And now you will all die."

As soon as she finished speaking, darkness began to condense around her. Small creatures, big creatures, creatures of all colours and sizes began to form. All had the same beady yellow eyes as the woman who preceded them, all had the same wicked blood lust as she. And before any of the pirates or wenches could scramble out the door of the establishment, the creatures were upon them, ripping hearts from flesh as she had done just moments earlier.

Noise filled the streets once more.
No longer were cries of merriment exiting the building.
Screams of terror echoed through the pirate town.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Etzolix on July 6th 2012, 1:05 am

Far above Port Royal a portal opened up and a figure flew out of it at a speed that one wouldn’t have been able to recognize the entity that exited it. This didn’t matter for this creature was covered in a smog of darkness that although concealed their identity did not hinder the eye sight of the one it covered. Its ocher eyes scanning across the Port he saw much filth wander the streets as they always did. These looters were too lost in their ways and would never be able to transition from a Pirate to Gentlemen not that this being himself was one. However, this was why the hybrid entered this world. Antagonizing people such as these took little to no effort and although opposed to what most might perceive him he was not here to start a brawl to coax his ego. Stopping midair the darkness ceased as he continued the scan around to an appropriate place too land. As the substance that one surrounded him faded his features became more vivid. Ivory hair, ocher eyes, the single canine that protruded as he smirked, these were the definable features that even in the distance one would recognize if they were familiar with the reptile.

Wearing his typical garments, The Skin of the Hive Queen over Catastrophe he reflected on how he had just finished constructing his Lucid tower, a safer home for those who wish to inhabit his world. Normally they would have to try to find peace with the heartless and even scavenge for food in other worlds to survive but upon creating this tower he made sure that there were accommodations for the normal humans that might potentially want to join him in the Realm of Darkness. The night was bustling and although it was wild as always for these mongrels had no self-control he noticed one particular spot where things were getting more out of hand than the rest. What gave him his cue was the fact that everyone who was in that specific bar had ran out and were attacked by heartless. Although in control of the creatures he normally never saw these creatures attack on their own without some valiant heroes daring to stop them.

Deciding it would be interesting to watch the familiar smoke appeared around him again has his Alveus Oculus activated and made his racial signature that of the creatures with skin of raven below. Stepping onto the pavement he opened the door nonchalantly as he passed the creatures feasting on the hearts of the perverts and buffoons who reeked of alcohol and lack of hygiene. Stopping as he entered the door he noticed the female with blue hair. Her pale skin was flawless minus the stains of blood on her body accentuated her appearance. His signature smirk of satisfaction grew and the single canine showed from his curved lip while the either remained concealed. “Yukina.” Etzolix’s voice said welcoming her to the bar as if she was the one who entered. The once annoying screams and yelps of terror in the town was now fitting music to the scene that he had just entered. So distracted by the woman before him he didn't initially notice that she was a heartless despite the entire scene having pointed to the fact. Once coming to the realization the reptile gained an insatiable curiosity but figured he would hold off on questions until they became reacquainted once again.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 6th 2012, 1:28 am

The creature of darkness didn't even notice the man as he entered the scene, her attention thoroughly focused on her next victim as she tore out the heart of another. This time it was a woman. A woman, but not a lady. The pathetic excuse for a female that she now had the pleasure of destroying was a whore, a woman who sold herself to these pirates in exchange for a few silver coins. It disgusted Yukina, had this wench no self respect? She enjoyed killing this one, she enjoyed killing any of the things that she deemed unworthy to live. And this was one such example. In fact, none of the people in this building would she deem fit to live a moment longer, although that was of course before she recognised the present of her former acquaintance.

But no, that wasn't right. He was more than a mere acquaintance, wasn't he? The creature reflected upon this for a moment, until he spoke her man. She grinned at him, her own fangs being revealed in much the same way that his were. She hadn't expected him to come, although she knew he controlled the Heartless now. Perhaps control was the wrong word, but he had some degree of power over them since his ascendency to the throne of the Realm of Darkness. She found her feet again, quite as slowly as before, and walked over towards him with an alluring charm.

"It's been a while," she said, her voice sweet, almost sickly so. As she spoke she licked the blood of her victims off her fingers, the scarlet mess dripping all over the floor and her skin as she did. She wondered what to ask, of course it had been so long that maybe he was a completely different person than the one she remembered. In fact, she knew he was. His strength had inevitably changed him, for she saw little of the perversity that she remembered from his youth. But perhaps that was simply to his maturation, rather than his growth in power. She had a clawed hand through her hair, before sitting at a bar stool next to him.

"So, where do we begin?" She asked, acting as though the death and screaming happening around them was nothing more than background noise to their long overdue reunion. Suddenly she realised that she hadn't seen him since her transition from human to Heartless, and wondered how different she must have seemed. Would he recognise her as the same person? She definitely felt the same, a little more twisted sure, but she was the same person, wasn't she?

"I guess you must be wondering what happened to me, then." She said, obviously drawing reference to the physical alterations she had undergone. They were minimal sure, but enough to indicate that she was no longer human. There was also the behaviour, biting the necks and ripping the hearts out of humans was not the most humane of behaviour. She grinned at him, simply gazing into his eyes. It had been too long, much too long. Wandering the universe alone had become lonely, but whenever she had tried to find him again... something had stood in the way. But for some reason she felt this time was different, that they would be together for much longer. Time would tell...

The sound of her voice was comforting to his ears. So much so he almost lost himself in in the ecstasy and familiarity that dripped from her lips. The heartless' sinister strut drew his attention even more and although she was the same person as she was in Deep Space she seemed much more exotic now, as if obtaining the moniker of a heartless had blessed her with an incredible allure that the reptile had not thought possible. Perhaps this wasn't due to becoming a creature of darkness but that old saying, what was it? Oh yes, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." or something along those lines. Yukina sat on a stool next to him and he closed the door leaning on it so that way he wouldn't have to move seeing as she had already made the effort to get closer so they could discuss the time that has lapsed between their last encounter. "Much too long." The reptile said the words bouncing off of her in the same way hers did to him their innate chemistry still in tact. Looking at her there were obvious changes that the hybrid noticed and none of the important ones were physical. Yukina had become a more tenacious woman. This was apparent by merely observing the way she fed on the prostitutes body and how she went about dissecting her momentarily living body.

The cravings for hearts might have won her over and it could have been instinctual but Etzolix quickly dismissed the idea. If she was merely wishing to calm her appetite she would have been more direct and less cruel. The method in which she slaughtered was purposely torturous and albeit disheartening to the normal critter in this universe the one before her enjoyed this unrestrained disposition. Momentarily focusing on her lips he reconnected their eyes. "What happened after you escaped?" He questioned seeing as that would be a good starting point for their conversation. The rebellion was rather harsh and rushed but that was the only way that they could have escaped. The opportunity was taken and had they not used Etzolix's presence and the lack of awareness the crew had of his capabilities then for all he knew they could have died that very night they took over the ship. Recalling the heartbreaking moment of re-separation after only a few, intimate yet satisfying moments together. The Port died down a bit going from screams to whispers in mere moments. It was likely they were hiding from the heartless or just trying to not get the attention of the one that Etzolix currently kept occupied seeing as she was the strongest by far out of the bunch he watched. In fact, he was surprised the bar dwellers even fell to the shadows but considering that none of them were sober they had no options.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 6th 2012, 2:20 am

The tension between the pair was palpable, but not uncomfortable. There was an innate connection that the pair had always shared, whether it was a mutual attraction was uncertain, but the Heartless woman paid it no mind. For now they had to re-familiarise themselves with one another, find out exactly how much had changed since their last encounter aboard that daunting, alien ship. He asked her what happened after she escaped, and for a second, she faltered. It was an obvious question, to find out what had happened after he sacrificed his own freedom for her own, and her crew. But the fact that she had been captured and killed mere moments later seemed like a disappointment, as though his surrender was all in vain. She resigned to the fact that she had to tell him, no matter how it sounded, they were both here now. That's all that mattered, wasn't it?

"Not long after we got out we were stopped again," she paused, wondering how best to phrase her prose. It was a strange thing, for she had been killed by the very kind of creature she was now, and the very kind of creature that her companion surrounded himself with. How would he take the news that it was they who killed her?

"By Heartless." Her voice returned to it's natural vigour. She told him now, what use was being hesitant when they were finally reunited. He wouldn't care, she knew he wouldn't care.

"They entered the ship. Killed everything, everyone. Next thing I knew I was in the Realm of Darkness... feeling a little different, feeling like I do now. After that I knew I had to get out, clear my head, find some hearts to steal." She paused, letting out a small laugh before continuing.

"It's odd. Having this near insatiable desire for human hearts. But the weirdest thing is... I like it." She grinned at him now, baring her sharp fangs. What would be his reaction to her tale? Did he approve of her new form? She was almost certain that he would. He had a fondness for the darkness, as far as she could tell. In terms of attunement, the pair were closer than they had ever been before. She could feel the dark magic oozing from within him, it gave her a sort of manic thrill that she hadn't felt since, well, ever.

She had finished her story, for now anyway, so she crawled her way over the bar and on to the other side. Crouching down she pulled two glasses and a bottle of what she imagined to be rum from the shelves behind her. Placing one glass in front of Etzolix and the other in front of herself she began to pour, not bothering to ask if he wanted anything. She wasn't even sure if this kind of thing even appealed to her any more, it wasn't as if she had a physiological need for food or liquid any more, except of course her desire to steal hearts... but that wasn't really the same. But it didn't matter, it was the atmosphere that it provided, two friends drinking together... or were they more than that? She wasn't sure.

"So, I guess it's your turn now." She said, taking a sip of her own glass of liquor.
"What happened after I left?"

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Etzolix on July 6th 2012, 2:42 am

Listening to the story it seemed to make sense. Some would believe it be Fate or Destiny that brought them together by killing with the very thing he ruled but he somehow twisted into his mind that the heartless knew and were delivering her to him. His distorted view on the story made it so he didn't curse the heartless for their nature but now embraced it even more and understood the bond they had even when he hadn't been in direct control of them. Perhaps it was Azmot's doing? He had been in control of the Realm of Darkness in Etzolix's absence but no that wasn't likely at all. The warrior wasn't even familiar with this pair's history so how would he know to aid the reptile in a universe that he couldn't even contact? That the hybrid himself couldn't even contact without deliberately leaving the one he belonged to now. "I was captured and imprisoned but not without a fight. Eventually the crew left due to fear of me since I slaughtered most of them." He paused reminiscing about how their sheer numbers was the cause for his defeat and not to mention he had to perform quite the spectacle to ensure they were all unable to stop the rest of the rebels from escaping which depleted his mana. Despite this self preservation was an instinct that had gotten him out of death despite the normal warrior that would have fallen before these Space Marines of sorts. "Eventually the ship connected with this universe and I was found by one of my few friends and he freed me."

Shirou had found him and released him from his prison but instead of being relieved the reptile still initially felt disappointed at his failure of reuniting with his... friend? "I went into a slump, bored of the universe since most of my companions had too left into the other planes of existence while I returned here...alone." Sighing at the end of this his humanity was showing and Yukina was one of the few that could bring out this vulnerable side to him. "Until recently I hadn't done much but I have new found inspiration." A devilish smile appearing at the end of his sentence. "I want to..." He began not wanting to sound a bit unorthodox but at this point, with this person, he didn't care. "Control it all." The hybrid wondered if she would be curious as to what he meant but it was rather self explanatory and by deducting her behavior from what he saw she would most likely accept this of him. Getting up away from the door he took a sip from the drink that she had silently offered, a sip large enough to empty the glass...whoops. Since she was sitting he looked down on towards her face as stood mere inches from her body and gave out and offer. "Would you join me?" Perhaps it was a bit too soon to be devious and plot with her but the offer was there more for future reference and show the continuation of wanting her in his life despite how subtle his words were involving this body language made it apparent.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 6th 2012, 4:41 am

Yukina grinned at him as soon as he spoke those words, to control it all. She couldn't help but laugh, he always was ambitious, wasn't he? The girl took another drink, this time downing the whole thing. The liquor warmed her insides as it travelled down her throat, causing a tingling sensation that made her feel alive. But was she alive? She wasn't sure. What counted as living and what counted as non-living? It didn't matter, all that mattered was that she was here, now, with him, and he was asking her to join him. Of course she would, did she really have a choice? What was she in these worlds anyway, nothing, not yet. She had only recently re-emerged, it took time to build up alliances, a following. She would of course accept his proposal, even if she hadn't felt the way she did about him.

"Of course." She spoke with a slow pace, stressing the sound of each word. She ran her fingers through her hair once more, a habit she had acquired even before she became a Heartless. She grinned, perhaps that indicated that she was the same person after all.

"So what did you have in mind first? Now that you're in control of the Realm of Darkness... I guess that your wish is my command." She said, her voice playful, almost flirtatious. She liked to play with the boy, despite her feelings she wasn't sure where they stood. It was fun to play the temptress, and she knew as well as anyone that she had the suitable assets to play the game.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Etzolix on July 6th 2012, 4:57 am

The heartless before him accepted the offer. Overwhelming joy filled each poor and crevice in his body but he remained collected and let a small smile form to showing his content. She questioned his motives and course of action and a moment of silence followed as he collected his thoughts. Relaxing on the bar itself keeping the distance minimal his eyes wandered to the ceiling and he closed them briefly as he thought. Recalling recent events there weren't many heroes around in these worlds. On the other hand it was likely that Shirou and Etzolix had worked too quickly but that was unavoidable considering there was only one target and no one immediately showed up to help. "I'm not completely sure." He began his voice not sounding confused or at a loss but making seem as if he had many options to pursue and wasn't sure which course of action would be the best. "Recently, I attacked Twilight Town and one of my associates murdered the leader. There was little resistance." Taking a brief pause he assumed that he shouldn't make any assumptions on her comprehension of the current world politics due to her absence and would explain what that meant. "This either means she never made any allies or there are no warriors willing to oppose me." With a small sigh let out he would continue the sigh signifying how he enjoyed the conflict more so than the victory. Greater the conflict the more satisfying the triumph and all that jazz. "There also aren't any large targets who would be willing to oppose me which means making our presence and intentions know will be more difficult due to a lack of stage to present ourselves." Etzolix still saw all of this as a show. People's lives, how they affected each other, and he slowly started believing over the course of time that he had the right to manipulate them in any way he pleased in order to entertain himself and better the "story" that this universe held.

The Heartless grinned as he recounted his story. She knew he was twisted, of course she that, but she hadn't known he was willing to kill... or at least, have others kill in his name. The last time she had known him he had never experienced the thrill of killing, she wondered how true that fact remained. She put a single talon-like nail between her lips, obviously pondering what was the best course of action. If there was no one around to oppose them, what was the issue? It was time to begin the terror, or at least that's what she imagined.

"Perhaps all we need is a little fear," she grinned, pointed fangs protruding over her lips once more. She looked around the now almost empty tavern, a few Heartless remained, many others had left, searching for the survivors of the pseudo-attack. She was pleased with her work, these people hadn't deserved to live anyway.

"I'm sure there are heroes out there, there always are. Perhaps all they need is a little push. A reason to rise up. An attack on a world is a start, sure, but I was thinking more along the lines of a massacre." Her eyes sparkled with delight, she didn't know how he would react, but it was implicit in her words that she was more than capable of delivering the deed she suggested.

Fear. Etzolix knew that he wasn't necessarily feared due to never pulling the trigger of the gun but people were intimidated of him. Then again he didn't know about the new warriors and whatnot and that her idea could potentially cause some chaos, enough to stir up the appropriate attention they needed. The word, "Massacre" escaped her lips and a single eyebrow arched, intrigued at the idea. "Elaborate." He said welcoming the females ideas and curious as to what devious plot had already been concocted in her mind not even after moments. Staring at her perfectly carved face he poured himself a drink and downed it letting satisfaction burn down his throat. Deciding he would stop he didn't enjoy intoxication to much for it hampered his ability to think clearly and even though he wasn't even close to being tipsy yet he was cautious for what he put in his body considering he tried keeping it in top condition for combat.

Yukina grinned as he asked her to elaborate. That of course meant that he was at least a little bit interested in her plan, that he wouldn't disregard what she said. Following his lead by filling her glass once more, she took another small sip before continuing.

"You know better than anyone what the Heartless can do," she began, clearing her thoughts and wondering how best to explain what she had in mind.

"And, as you can see here, with my minimal control of my kin death still runs rampant. With your control of them... we can do more than attack a single world at a time." She paused, wondering if he knew where she was headed.

"Death is a motivator. Death of innocents will most certainly rally the 'heroes' that I know are still out there, more than the death of some Mayor that, evidently, no one cared about." She paused remembering her youth, her innocence, her desire to be one of the heroes she now openly mocked.

"And if it doesn't, well... then there's no one to stand in our way."

"So what you're saying is not to attack a single world...but them all?" Etzolix listened to himself reiterate her idea and thought of the possibilities that would arise from it. There would obviously be a gain of attention but why stop with heartless? Shirou recently founded power in The World That Never Was due to connections the reptile had once had with the world and his former potential to posses it. "Why stop with only heartless?" He pondered in a sinister manner moving in dangerously close to the females face their noses almost touching. Pulling away and walking towards the center of the room he started moving his fingers in the air in a similar manner one would to complete a more complex mathematical equation. Turning back to face the marvelous creature before he spoke, "I've missed you." Walking back toward her his white hair still a quite the mess as it always was, there were bags under his eyes which were oddly colored due to Alveus Oculus and he didn't want to risk her temptation being so strong that she would attack him. Last thing he wanted was to accidentally hurt her with forceful restraint. "How were your adventures from before we met in Deep Space?" They never really were able to speak of this aspect due to how brief and occupied their former interaction had been. Honestly, the reptile himself didn't quite remember what happened around that time for so much elapsed in his life that it all just seemed like a blur of events that molded together to creature whatever entity he was today.

"Of course, whatever you had available would be helpful. But the core idea is there." She said, her voice filled with something akin to joy at his acceptance, even excitement at her idea. She listened as he told her that he missed her, a smile creeping it's way across her lips. She rid herself of the glass now, standing up and stretching out her limbs. She was surprisingly docile at the moment, the satisfaction of consuming the hearts of innocents leaving her thirsting for nothing more... for now anyway.

"I'm not sure there's much point in telling you. It's in the past now." Her voice trailed off, would he have agreed with her decision to return here? With how much she had achieved in that other place, that other time. She had been someone there, someone important. But now she had returned and no one even knew her name, except for him of course.

Deciding not to question why she'd rather speak of it he couldn't help but glance over her figure and let out a snicker as the stains of blood were still there. She was elegant as ever. Standing in front of her he didn't really know what to say right now truthfully. Many thoughts ran across his mind, about The Keywork and setting it up, the plan that Yukina had just suggested, Yukina herself and potential events and encounters that lay mapped out on the road before them. As she stood he looked at her in eyes noticing that stood at exactly the same height, rather fortunate of him for it would'e been slightly embarrassing if she had grown taller than him in their time apart. "Let's take a stroll." The reptile suggested having opened the door ajar before speaking. His arm fully stretch out and left open he waited for her to walk through and would soon follow, closing the door behind him as if he was being polite to the rest of the people at the bar. The creature would walk up next to her and lead the walk considering it was his idea unless she had any objections and objectives of her own to accomplish while in Port Royal.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 8th 2012, 3:29 am

The Heartless nodded at her companion's suggestion, slowly moving towards him and through the door. She liked to take her time, there was no rush. No reason for the two to part ways just yet. As she left the tavern she scanned the environment around her, the streets were, for the most part, empty. The violence and commotion she had caused clearing many of the stray pirates and wenches off the streets and back into whichever hovel they crawled from. It was dark, the silver glow of the moon providing the only light in which to see the cobble-stoned streets. She began to walk, glancing over as Etzolix found his place by her side. She wondered where the conversation should go, if there was more she should ask about him, or more he wanted to know about her. She wiped the remaining blood on her hands off onto the simple white dress she wore, staining it beyond salvation. She didn't care, it wasn't hers anyway. She had found the thing in this very world upon her arrival, having to shed the more fitting black dress she had worn before. It didn't suit her, to wear white. White suggested innocence, something that the female was no longer familiar with.

"You have more allies, yes?" She asked, deciding that perhaps for now it was best to keep the conversation focused on 'business'. It was easier to talk about the future than the past, the thing they could control rather than the thing they couldn't.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

"Of course I do." He said with confidence, enough so that he seemed to be boasting at the fact as if it was obvious that a man of his power had allies to back him up. "Not that we'd need them." The reptile stated shrugging his shoulders acknowledging there were no current powers in the universe that he knew of that could potentially defeat him aside the one that was already on his side. The yells died and the town was silent and hiding from the two creatures that prowled the streets. Truthfully, they were just taking a leisurely stroll an obscure thought for the fearful mongrels of this city not understanding the reconnection that was taking place before them. This beautiful interaction would go on misunderstood and the Port would victimize themselves as if they were something more than a quick meal for the heartless he traveled with. Noticing that she stained her clothes even more she seemed to not care about her white dress which oddly matched the outer layer of clothing Etzolix wore. "Hm, perhaps new clothing is in order?" He began and continued with, "Or none at all." Obviously he didn't mean this seriously for it would be an inappropriate time but he assumed it was time to test the waters with some humor of sorts.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

He seemed to boast at the fact that he had friends, something which caused a small laugh to escape the Heartless's lips. She had never seen him brag before, once upon a time he was plagued with modesty, refusing to acknowledge his own strength while there were still people stronger than him. But perhaps that meant there was no one left stronger than him, a thought which brought a smile to the woman's lips.

"Who are they, these friends of yours?" She would make a point to meet any and all of these people, anyone who was an ally of Etzolix's would be, by extension, an ally of hers. She wondered what they would be like, to be friends of Etzolix. Sometimes he could be so serious, and other times so playful. He was kind of like Yukina in a sense, neither really being in such a stable place, mentally. She grinned as he spoke again, a perfect example of the playfulness she was thinking of. And then, she paused, considering how best to respond. Deciding that he was a person she could toy with, and that she didn't care about the people of Port Royal to care what they thought of her, she pulled the now ruined white dress up and over her shoulders, revealing a muscular frame, her modesty concealed only by a black bra and underwear.

"Much better." She said with a grin, winking at the half demon. "You know where I could acquire some more clothes, then?" She asked, intentionally overly formal to contrast her now near nakedness.

"Few are friends, some merely allies, some are looking out for themselves in the future." Etzolix recounting the differently people that he was associating with. He really didn't consider himself emotionally close to many people anymore especially after the disappearances of the first friends that he had made. The only one left from his days of naivety was Kotor who had become a recluse. Although he could seek him out he wasn't currently needed and would be asked for his help more thoroughly when the muscle was actually needed. As she took off her dress and revealed her frame under it he wasn't sure to be surprised or not. These tactics were aggressive as she was before but more daring than he recalled. Nonetheless the view was pleasant and he would continue the game he initiated. "Best bet would be my place." He suggested somewhat seriously, but jokingly in manner. She was attractive but ultimate goal wasn't physical pleasure, at least that wasn't his. He was still unsure about hers at this point. Looking around the reptile wasn't exactly sure there was a clothing store consider the humans here were all looters who stole the majority of what they had.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

The Heartless grinned at his response to her effectively stripping in front of him. Her amber eyes scanned the area around them, looking for any building that looked as though it might house people who would wear the sort of garment she required. Her glowing eyes settled on a manor house in the distance, separate from the town on a risen hill. It looked as if it housed some sort of nobility, perhaps some of the privileged members of the Port, if privileged members of the Port Royal community even existed. She gestured towards the house she had spied with her pale white arm, drawing her companion's attention to it.

"Perhaps the residents up there would have something appropriate." Her eyes sparkled, mischievously. It had been a long time since she had had fun, had not been as serious as her position in her previous world had required. She knew this playfulness could not last, that if she were to be a true power in these worlds that she would have to return to that state of seriousness, of control and power. But for now she could enjoy herself, enjoy the thrill of the hunt and of killing. With Etzolix, she was closer to herself than with anyone else.

As the female used her arm to gesture the manor that she spotted he supposed there might be something there worth investigating. Considering the state of the Port they would most likely be hiding and expecting of some robbers attempting to steal their goods. Finding himself accidentally ogling at her he reverted his eyes to the manor and stepped in that direction not really caring if she saw for he knew if there was an issue he'd be confronted and even then this action would be on of flattery due to her current attire. "Perhaps an inspection is in order?" Sticking his hand out into the air he ripped apart the fabric before him and simply tossed it aside creating a portal of darkness large enough for both of them to walk into. "Take my hand." He said as bean stepping through. The heartless had never been in a portal such as this to his knowledge so she wouldn't know how to navigate just yet but eventually she would if she observed Etzolix and his methods enough. Upon stepping out they would be in front of the building with the most potential for clothing. "Which side do you want to enter from?" He said not knowing what her preference would be. Would she rather stealthy or barge in? It would entertaining either way and there would likely be little opposition before the two especially with the commotion that had been in the Port not many moments earlier.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Post by Yukina Tarka on July 8th 2012, 5:04 am

Yukina took his hand, stepping through the black void, putting all her faith into her companion. The darkness was comforting to her, it felt like home, and in a way, it now was. Her body was, while seemingly human, essentially composed of darkness. Wasn't at the way with all Heartless? Upon reaching the other side of the portal, she grinned, gazing at the manor in front of them. She had never used a portal before, but the experience excited her. Perhaps one day, when her control over the darkness was honed, he could teach her to do something similar. But that was in the future, for now, she would simply continue with the task at hand.

She heard his question, and registered it as a question on whether to enter 'sneakily' or just to walk right in. She decided to act without consulting him, pushing her way through the unlocked door and into the grand foyer. She didn't see anyone around, but she could feel their hearts. Something inherent to the Heartless, she knew when their were living hearts around. A sudden realisation that paused her advance, she swung around to face Etzolix, her eyes squinted.

"Why can't I feel your heart?" She asked, her voice faint. Had something happened to him? Why hadn't she recognised the lack of it's presence before, was it something to do with his control of the Heartless? Had he sacrificed his heart to control them? It didn't matter if he had, but she felt as if it were something he should have told her by now.

As she decided to enter through the main entrance he followed behind and a moderate pace while being rather relaxed. This was rather unexpected she didn't really try to hard to make an excessive show or keep herself especially hidden but neither of which really needed to happen. Personally, he would've portalled inside but he always felt it better to ask what the other person wanted to do when it was their mission since he enjoyed being in charge of his own goals and aspirations. "Uhhh?" Etzolix was confused for a second and put his hand to his chest and felt the pounding of his heart and then remembered why she would have been confused. Recalling his enchantment, Alveus Oculus, was for the majority of the time on he was accustomed to the feel and it's observance and had stopped using his normal vision. "It's an enchantment that helps me observe. Part of it allows me to change my racial signature, which I do. I parade around as a heartless out of respect for the world I rule and the previous leader." The reptile said explaining the reasons why he did this as well. "This is how I am without it." Deactivating the enchantment he wondered how she would react to his heart and the raw unfiltered power that he held within his body.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

An enchantment. Of course, that made her feel slightly better. For some reason she liked that he still had his heart, and wondered to herself if he would have preferred her if she were still whole. She couldn't entertain the thought, not now anyway. He hadn't shown any sign of not liking her new form, so she would let sleeping dogs lie, as it were. And then, something changed within him. She recognised the change as soon as it happened, and it was as if a switch was struck within her. She was drawn like a moth to a flame to him, her clawed hand grazing his chest. A part of her wanted to tear her way in, but by sheer force of will she managed not to. Pulling her hand back to her side, she stared at the ground.

"Change it back." Her voice was cold, to the point. She couldn't handle his strength, she felt like she couldn't resist his pull. She wasn't yet strong enough to control the impulses within her, and as long as he remained like this she wouldn't be able to concentrate on anything of substance.

Listening to her he activated the enchantment back. Her voice was cold, and he disliked this. The reptile somewhat regretted his power but this moment of doubt was brief for he would simply help her rise to the point where she could resist the homicidal urges to gouge out his heart and swallow the morsel down her throat. Deciding to lighten up the mood he would say lightheartedly. "That attracted to it, huh?" Looking down at his chest, or at least attempting to do so he would let her continue her quest somewhat tempted to leave it off. His inner masochist wished that she would tear him apart especially with her lack of clothing present but the sake of her feelings on the matter he wouldn't press on. Moving on from this he decided to pursue her objective for suitable clothing and said, "Well where do you wanna go first?" His no longer the ocher he was born with.

The Lost and the Hopeless [Open] Empty Re: The Lost and the Hopeless [Open]

Yukina raised her head as soon as he changed his signature back, her eyes staring with intent at Etzolix. She was breathing heavily now, the thirst was intense, the effort to control it was tiring. Taking a moment to compose herself she grinned at him, baring her fangs once more. He was joking, and she responded as she did to try and mask the insecurity that she felt. It was difficult, to have an overpowering sense that she could barely control. She was used to having control, it was what she knew, how she liked. But to have this lust that was near impossible to prevent, it was unnerving. But she couldn't let it show, her eyes would not betray her.

"Upstairs," she said, cursing herself for how blatant she was. For all her effort in controlling her body movement to not show just how disturbed she was, her voice was the crack that would shed the light of her mental state. Attempting to draw attention away from her error, she quickly ascended the stairs, making a right turn at the top and beginning to search for a bedroom, anything that housed some sort of clothing. Reaching a door, she sensed a heart on the other side of it. She looked back towards Etzolix, before slowly opening the door and finding the sleeping woman. She looked about Yukina's size, and the Heartless quickly assumed that there would be some clothing around that should fit. She stalked closer to her prey, the sleeping woman in the bed, it was almost too easy.

She couldn't even scream before her heart was ripped out, and her blood stained the white sheets that surrounded her. Yukina grinned, her thirst was once more sated, though the smell of Etzolix's heart still lingered in her mind.
