Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
Azumi looked up to the bright sun. A small smile was on her face as she gazed at the sky. The sand felt warm and gritty against her back. She looked at her red two piece bathing suit and sighed. Satsu had insisted on a two piece for her charge, despite Azumi's protests. At least it has cherry blossoms on it, the half-ling thought wryly. She dug through her beach bag, which she bought at Twilight Town when she went to the beach there. That was summers ago, though, so she had forgotten she'd bought it. Pulling out a book, Azumi carefully laid it on the sand. She was grateful that this book was a hardback, so the sand wouldn't ruin it. Next, she pulled out a beach towel and stood to her feet and spread it out on the ground.
Within her beach bag, there was also a fairly large picnic lunch for which she made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fried chicken with her own sauce to pour over it, and she had bought cheese, meat and crackers. It should have been enough for a few people, and, if not, surely there was a store somewhere, but it probably existed on the mainland. In another, hidden pocket, the girl kept both of her cat of ninetails. Azumi doubted the day would turn sour, but there had been a forecast of slight clouds with a chance of rain.
The half-ling happily opened her book, which was entitled True Grit and was authored by one Charles Portis, and began reading where she had left off. So far, Mattie, a fourteen year old girl had gone to find out the particulars of her father's death by the hand of hired help Tom Chancey. She had inquired about tough marshals and had found "Rooster" Cogburn at a trial in which he was a witness. The trial had just ended. Yes, it was a little strange to be reading a Western fiction at a tropical beach, but it was the only book she had on hand as of right now.
Azumi turned a page and wondered what would happen next.

Re: Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
What a day. The sun above shining brilliant in the bold blue sky. It was a beautiful start to another day on Destiniy Islands. Axis had arrived not too long ago and rented out a small boat to ride out to the other island. As soon as she had arrived she had taken a walk around and then finally ended up lounging for most of the day on the paopu tree that overlooked the water. Everything was nice and perfect so far. There was nothing that would disturb her peaceful slumber. Or atleast that what she had believed. Axis' peace was soon interupted. With the sound of steady steps along the sand and shuffling of items was caught by her ears, Axis' eyes twitched slightly and then slowly opened. Her vision was blurred for a few moments as she sat up and rubbed them to refocus. Once she was fully awake and her vision clicked back into clear view Axis began to look around for the source of the sounds.
Raising her arms above her head Axis gave a yawn and stretched herself out till she heard a very light crack in her back. As soon as her arms fell back to her sides she looked up to the sky and gave a smile, the suns light warm on her face. She swore she could feel a familiar aura. Maybe it had been her imagination playing tricks on her while she had been asleep? That was what she was thinking till she finally noticed someone on the beach a little ways from where she was.
"Who?" Axis thought for a second. Then giving a shrug she rose to her feet and jumped off from the high ledge of the spot and landed on the soft sand below. Axis wasn't in her usual outfit. Instead she was in a pair of baggy black swim trunks that fell quite a few inches below her knees and was decked out with red trim and a red nobody symbol on the bottom of the left leg. For her upper body she wore a pure black close fitting sports tank top. Her hair had finally ditched the red streaks of her original hair color and was now completely black and much more shorter than her shaggy style from before. Walking down from the spot she continued towards the area where she had seen the person in the distance. "Who could it be? I recognize that aura from somewhere." She spoke to herself in a soft tone.

Azumi had found that poor Mattie had a cold and had just met a Mr. LaBeouf, who was threatening to take her back to Yell County as he and Cogburn looked for Chancey. The half-ling gripped the book a little harder than normal, somewhat upset with LaBeouf for what he said about Mattie, but soon, small bits of quiet laughter escaped her lips. She's not backing down from him, it seems...interesting.
Azumi's ear twitched and she heard a soft sound. Turning, she saw another person on the beach not too far from her. Her eyes noted that the person was a young woman, and that this woman had a quizzical look etched into her features. The half-ling stood and began walking to the stranger with a smile on her face as her hand held the book closed, but her thumb kept her place.
"I'm sorry if I disturbed you with my laughter, ma'am," she said with a slight bob of her head, "my name is Azumi Cho. It is a pleasure to meet you." The girl held out her hand and grinned.

"This woman... She's the one from the library and from the leader conference." Axis thought to herself.
The woman had introduced herself as Azumi. Sticking one hand in her right pocket and rubbing the back of her head with the other Axis gave a warm smile and nodded. "No no, it's quite alright Miss Azumi." Not wasting time to show Azumi proper manorisms Axis gave a small but polite bow from her waist and introduced herself. "It is a pleasure to meet you face to face finally. My name is Axis." Now Axis was never one to talk so formally to anyone unless it was necessary but there was something about Azumi that made her wanna be nice and proper.
Axis walked past Azumi and sat down on the warm sand. Leaning back onto the support of her arms she looked up over her shoulder at Azumi, the smile still on her face. When Axis looked over she did notice the book in Azumi's hand. "Do forgive me if I disturbed your reading, Miss Azumi."

Azumi nodded and smiled. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Axis." She watched the Nobody female bow from the waist, and the half-ling chuckled slightly as she wrote, "Please, please, there is no need to be so formal...it's entirely not necessary, unless we were speaking business terms...though, it is refreshing to see someone else know how to act formal when it counts."
Azumi smiled lightly and watched Axis walked past her. "Um," she found herself reaching out after her new acquaintance, "I have a lot of food...I was hoping to get a group of people around and have a nice picnic." She looked at the ground and nearly blushed at her sudden actions. "You are welcome to join me, and do not worry about disturbing my reading. I can start and stop pretty easily."
The half-ling sat down on her towel and looked up at the sky once more.

Re: Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
'I must be having another allucination' Eblax thought as he heard a pair of voices in the desert shore, Eblax had been burried by Abel in the sand six hours ago while he was sleeping, Abel had burried him so only Eblax's head got out of the sand, when Eblax awaked, he saw his brother leaving, he told him to get him out of the sand, but Abel just said "Later, now İ want to have a bath!" six hours had alteady passed and Abel had not returned yet, due to being all that time with his head expossed to the sun, Eblax was suffering delirium, but fortunately, his tan skin had prevented him from getting burnt, that's why now he doubted about the women's voices he was hearing being real, but then the pregnant six arms male leprecaunt practicing capoeira on his head told him "Hey, you should call them, what could you loose dude?"
His vission was right, what could he loose?, he took the deepesr breath he could and shouted asking for help, "Hey!, Please!, I need help, save me!" Eblax hoped to be heard by them, but the women seemed to be pretty far from him, although there was no one on the beach except they, maybe the silence would help him to be heard.

Re: Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
As Azumi made herself comfortable on her towel, Axis gave a deep sigh of relief after having taken a deep breath of fresh island air. "I would be delighted to join you." Looking out across the vast ocean that sparkled like diamonds in the growing sunlight her smile slightly grew. This was definitely one place where she felt at peace and it would be till the day it met it's end. If it ever did.
As the conversation kept on Axis let herself fall back into the warm sand. She didn't have any sun glasses so as not to be blinded by the sun above she placed a hand over the area of her eyes creating a shadow that allowed her to look over at Azumi. "What are you reading? If you don't mind me asking." Axis ear did give a small twitch as something in the distance was souding very very lightly.

Re: Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
Mystic was upset, looking up at a tree. A seagull was perched on top of it, carrying a hat. Mystic had purchased this hat earlier, as he wanted something to shade him from the sun. Serenity was there too, but she was relaxing on a towel, taking a nap by the seashore. Mystic growled at the seagull, then started swinging at the tree it was resting on with his staff. The seagull got annoyed, so it dropped the hat. When Mystic smiled and went to pick it up, the seagull dove and pecked at him. Mystic ran away, carrying the hat, until the seagull finally flew off. "That's what I thought! Teaches you to mess with me!" Mystic laughed, then noticed why the seagull flew away; It brought friends. Mystic swore to himself then ran away, faster then he did before. Mystic eventually tripped and got mauled by seagulls. 2 minutes later Serenity scared the seagulls off, leaving Mystic covered in bird droppings and minor bruises.
Mystic got up, trying to act like nothing happened, even though it happened in public. "Mystic, can you survive going somewhere without making someone upset?" Serenity aid with a sigh. "Maybe, I just don't decide to find out," Mystic laughed. Serenity growled, decided that arguing wouldn't help, and just laid back down on her towel. Mystic bought a pretzel from the snack bar, then ate away, relaxing on the sand..

Re: Sunny with a Chance of Rain (Open, but passive, unless you just want a friendly spar)
Azumi listened to a tree's laughter at some very distant sound, but she had a page to finish. She had just finished the page when Axis inquired as to what book she was reading. With a smile, she wrote, "True Grit by Charles Portis. Have you heard of it?"
Eying the picnic basket, she smiled at Axis. "I am glad you are staying. I hope the fried chicken is keeping warm, then again, with a hot day like today, I don't see why it wouldn't..."
The half-ling's head jerked up from her half-way finished page. A flock of gulls were squawking quite noisily, and this caused her to stand to her feet and look for the source of her irritation. The gulls were distant and then there was a shadowy figure were they had all been. She looked over at Axis and pouted slightly. "Should we go see what all the noise was about?"

"...I think that we finally can give a conclusion to this debate sirs, and I think that I can say that I represent you all when I say that Michael was still cool when he turned white, and when I say that God is fruitmorphic, probably, a watermelon..."
This was a part of Eblax's words as he discussed with his hallucinations, yelling loud.
"...And for the sake of humankind we shall break that watermelon hitting it with our heads for when it breaks, RaptorJesus shall be born from the inside of the watermelon... WHO IS WITH ME?!?!"
Eblax was near to loose consciousness, but making a final attempt he yelled again for the last time in a brief moment of mental sanity.
"SOMEONE PLEASE!!!!, HELP ME!!!!, WATER!!!!, I NEED WATER!!!!"
Eblax could not bear the enormous thirst anymore, all what he thought is that he needed to drink something urgently, this time he had shouted much louder because the despair.
