Er...Dude. Okay. Here's one thing. Apple made a gaming console, that happens to be one of the biggest busts of all time in videogame history. They wouldn't make another one, unless you see Atari announcing that their going to make a console. Point is, their first console failed BEYOND horribly. So, yeah. Not gonna happen.

What system was it forte? 0_o

THe only product I would buy from Apple--Is a toilet, so I could have the satisfaction of shitting in it everyday.....case closed.

It happened years ago dude...More than a decade ago, in fact. That was when video game consoles were a LOT more common than nowadays, considering we only have 3 consoles and 2 handhelds now. Back then, video game consoles were everywhere. So, obviously Apple has learned it's lesson that it shouldn't try to randomly poke it's nose into the video game industry unless it actually has good 3rd party support and knows what the hell it's doing. I mean hell, I count Microsoft as super lucky that they didn't mess up and the Xbox didn't die.

Well i only find that sony is the only game console that is really successful, thus i dislike xbox.. and thanks forte for the info..

The only stupid thing about that video is when he says Metal Gear being a failure. He insinuates that Xbox should have gotten it because its been failing on all other consoles. It may have failed for Nintendo and those other crappy consoles, but since its been on PS1, PS2, and PS3 it has had GREAT success...

Guys, no Corporation can *ever* be said to have learned its lesson from past failures. TRUST me, Bad Ideas Never Die. If it has happened before, that only means that they're waiting for the right brown-nosing idiot to make the suggestion again when his star is rising and everyone else lost in Groupthink believes that he cannot go wrong.

Just because they Failed Hard in the past does not mean they cannot Fail Again.

They'd probably call it the i-console and you'd have to download games through i-tunes or some other proprietary software and it'd be convoluted as heck to work with because they don't want people getting around using *their* stuff on *their* console.

And, for the record, no, I wouldn't buy it if I had *any* choice in the matter. I don't know which company does more damage to the soul of the world, Apple or Microsoft. They run about neck and neck for me. *sigh*
