The Fault in Our Cars (Open)

Post by Kia on September 23rd 2014, 6:51 pm

It was a sunny afternoon in the Castle of Dreams, there was still debris in the air from the castle being destroyed. A thirteen year old girl sneezed and kept hammering away at the pole, she drew a 'MOST WANTED' picture of the two males she saw in the castle. They were badly drawn and there were little dark squiggles in unnecessary places on the construction paper, the individual that find these two men would get 8 grand of munny as a reward.

Kia wiped the bead of sweat off of her forehead and picked up her staff with her left hand, and bundled the papers under arm and walked over to her and her sister's Gummi Ship. Abigail, her older sister had to work today so she couldn't help Kia put papers all around the worlds. The girl realized that she had a dark smudge on her pink dress and begun to wipe it off, Yuck dirt! The thirteen year old thought as she opened the Gummi Ship door and walked in. She kind of knew how to drive it, well... not really.

"Oh, what the hell." Kia would mutter as she turned the key into the in-cognition, the ship begun to move forward but not fly. In frustration, Kia smacked one of the screens and the ship lunged forward and quickly stopped as if it bumped into something. Kia bit her lower lip and shrieked, Do not get out of the ship do not get out of the ship! She kept thinking..

Azzinoth had been minding his own damn buissness when a crazy reckless driver rammed into him. "What the fuck..." He said, outraged at the sheer idiocy! He was the Breaker of Worlds! And someone had the nerve to ram him with a large motorized vehicle? He quickly stood up and brushed his chest off in outrage.

To describe the crash... He had felt a jolt of pure shock when the space craft rammed him, but a sudden burst of pain enveloped him a moment later. It was weird, the vehicle actually bent under the impact with him, as if the darkness had tamed the ship and cut through it to protect him from death. He quickly stood up and stared toward the cockpit's ship at a young girl muttering to himself, sudden two flashes of green and he was holding large reavers. An angry facial expression aimed at her from beneath a blindfold.

"You..."

When the victim stood up, Kia was already shooting straight up out of her seat. She just hit a monster!! As he summoned two gigantic looking swords, she was in for it now.... The girl didn't want a fight at all, but to protect herself she brung her staff which she named Hamako with her and ran out of the Gummi Ship. The victim was much taller than her and looked very different from the citizens she saw roaming around this world. He wore a blindfold, but could he see her? From his facial expression, it looked like he could..

"Look, sir," She begun to speak as she changed the grip of Hamako in her hands to make herself look tough. "Maybe if you didn't have a big blindfold covering your eyes, you would be fine and you wouldn't get hit.." She would say, crossing her arms and looking up at him sizing him up. Ever since she and her sister ran away from the cult in the Meadows, she's been trying to act like a tough fighter ever since maybe she was shadowing her emotions or maybe she was trying to prove to herself that she wasn't useless.. She somehow wished she could quit with the 'I'm tough' act.

The creature smiled, he could already sense spunk on her... But also fear; and a lot at that. "Maybe if you knew how to drive a ship and weren't just starting puberty I wouldn't have gotten hit miss." The creature said as his muscles tightened, and his markings began to glimmer a little.

"I wouldn't want you to get hurt in that ship, but... Oh who am I kidding, I kinda wanna see you get hurt. With your kind wondering about you care little for other creatures." He then took the massive reaver on his left and chunked it at her with skillful precision and master speed.

Kia grimaced as he said something about just starting puberty and wanting to see her get hurt, as he lunged at her with the gigantic reaver in his left hand. Kia stood there in shock as the reaver left a big ugly cut across her chest, she felt tears run down her cheeks as she looked at her dress collar which was now stained with red... Did he just.. Oh, it was on now!

What should I do? the girl thought as she shuffled her feet in a failed attempt at a battle stance, she hardly knew any skills and was hardly EVER trained, but this was her chance to prove that she was tough no matter how bad her chest and collarbones started to ache and no matter how bad her aim was, there was no time for running away and crying, she got herself into this mess, and now she was going to get herself out of it. Without thought, She ran at the stranger and gripped on to Hamako, swinging the staff at his midsection, following with a kick to his shin. The tears blurred her vision but it wasn't hard to see the stranger's next attack.

Still holding his right reaver, the monster stood and waited on the girl before abrudtly turning and throwing his foot backward and elegantly, forcing forth a "super kick" much like that of a trained performer. The opposite leg striking backwards at such velocity and quickness would be surprising at the least.

Of course the fiend was toying around with her, he didn't kill little girls for the sake of killing, he was just messing around. However giving her a good scare and letting her get some hits in would be quite fun, thus is why he wouldn't follow up with the reversal he had exhibited just now. The teenager deserved a little time to strike; he also had to admire her bravery when standing up such an evil looking fiend.

The stranger did let Kia get a few hits in but what he did really surprise her. With no time to dodge, the stranger performed a swift backward kick which sent the girl flying into a nearby tree. An acorn fell from the bushes and landed on her head, This was starting to get annoying! Clutching onto her chest, the girl struggled to stand up and after regaining balance she charged.

Kia's strategy was to try and mirror his moves and find out his weakness, no matter how fast he attacked. With a smirk, she arched her elbow and attempted to ram right into his stomach. What in the world was this guy's weakness? He was hella strong, she winced and rubbed her bruised elbow and with her other hand she swiped Hamako weakly at his feet, she thought that maybe engaging in conversation could give her time enough to find out his weaknesses."You're quite busty for a male," She would exclaim, referring to his bare chest. "My sister has a few bras you could borrow, what's your preference? Lace or lingerie?"

He stood and let the elbow take him quickly, with a wince he grinned and a sudden attack to his feet occured... Though it didn't hurt thanks to his demonic hooves that had formed do to in powering himself to second form.

The girl began small talk, excellent. She was attempting tactics; one's that were well betond her years. "Lingerie.." He said with sarcastic smile before taking the other Reaver and swiping in an upward diagonal to cut her in half. It was an amateur attack that he hoped she could avoid. Giving her this experience was actually quite amusing!

Re: The Fault in Our Cars (Open)

Post by Alexander on September 24th 2014, 6:12 pm

Had Alexander even left this world? Everything simply blurred together it seemed. A mess of days or hours marched by with drums and rhythmic footsteps, but he barely noticed their passage. It was all utterly pointless to him. This phantom universe was but an echo of his own, warped like the images of a fun-house mirror. Somewhere within this strange gaggle of reflections from worlds' past was the other half of his power. Perhaps that was his answer. He continued to reside here to see if that power ever traversed through the world, but his time to leave was coming soon. He had to be in the Radiant Gardens. There, he needed his army in full. He would search the town and see if he could find any clues.

But, maybe there was another reason he stood on the Castle of Dreams. He watched the thing below fight the girl from earlier. An echo of a person that he once knew, and perhaps even cared a great deal for. He didn't entirely recall. Just like the passage of time, that to was a slurry of thoughts. But he could grasp her name. Her face he could also place. The girl who arrived seeking adventure, and the demon that had followed her later. "Kia," he mouthed the name to himself, tasting it. It was bitter, and he briefly felt like retching. It was covered in bile and dredged up from the pit of his stomach, heavy and acrid.

Yet, he was fascinated. This Kia was much fiercer than the other. She was brave. Courageous. She wasn't unafraid, but seemed to have made peace with that fear. Alexander sat atop the castle, a black speak against the blue rubble that was once a tower, looking over the lands and them. A shallow grin crossed his face, for it had no real meaning to his heart other than a slight bit of pleasure. His metal arm tapped against the roof beneath him, as he had his legs crossed and the other holding his chin up as he contemplated what to do with her, if anything at all. Could a mere illusion such as herself serve any higher purpose than nostalgia?

He was tempted to find out, but decided it best to watch how she had developed versus the real one. The demonic-looking entity was an unfamiliar figure altogether, unless it was a phantom Zeferoth...? It was strange to consider, but not entirely impossible. Not everything needed to be a perfect recreation. Such an interesting parallel then that she had been friends with him previous only to battle him now. The creature clearly held itself back, testing the girl's limits Alexander had assumed. He marveled at the complexity of the creation, but should he really be so surprised? Illusion or not, he was here. It was solid and tangible. More interesting: the thought that the illusion was so complete that he had become part of it.

And so the figure, his Organization Cloak concealing him, watched the two below in silence...

When Kia saw the stranger move his arm upwards, she would sidestep before he can even get a cut on her! This was starting to become fun, dangerous but fun. She wondered how Abigail would react if she came home with all of these cuts and one big bruise, she would probably nag at her and heal her wounds while doing more further nagging.

The teenager wished she knew some special skills, like those men with pointy hats that pointed sticks at people muttering nonsensical words. What were they called again? She shook away her thoughts and slowly walked around the strange man, "I've seen people like you before," She would retort as she walked around, looking him up and down. "Except I had to pay admission." She would lunge Hamako aiming at his back, hoping the spear on the tip of the staff would hit.

The elf demon, smirked as the girl walked around him. She must have thought he was going hard, perhaps he shouldn't even have left his first state. He easily summoned his other Reaver and very casually  lifted it forth.

As the young warrior, babbled about people and admission? .... Wait was she calling him a freak? Was she REALLY discriminating against his race? ... "Do not... Ever, and I mean ever disgrace my kind. Humans are very obviously the lesser race, and for you to make fun of one's skin color, ones body... Disgusting." The girl ran at him and attempted to hit him with Hamako, but he side stepped casually and walked slowly. Dragging his Glowing green reavers across the ground. As he did so purple sparks emitted instead of green. His smile was now gone; a nerve stricken by the young one's racism.

... Foolish humans

As the man started walking backwards, Kia started feeling a bit guilty about her snarky retort and stood still as she saw the reavers being dragged and purple sparks emitting from the gravel below. She bit her lower lip, Maybe I should keep going.. She thought, at least she got a reaction from him since he said something about humans being the lesser race and what was his kind? She was much more interested in what species he was, maybe a mixed hybrid? Oh, why did it matter.. All she wanted was a reaction and she got one!

"Oh, humans are a lesser race now? Oh my, I feel bad for the visually i-impaired," She would continue but with a small stutter, waiting for even more of a reaction as she watched the purple flecks. "Do you still love nature after what it did to you?"

The monster stared outward towards her, stoping for a moment to hear her ignorance once more. He almost laughed actually. However he retained his form of the "Idgaf" look. Lifting both of the massive Reavers up he spoke once more.

"Do you still lover your father? After what he did to YOU?  Also maybe fix your form, young one, those outstretched legs don't repel so well. Perhaps watching yourself before some little boy takes you up in a Gummi ship, and fucks up your entire life... Actually I'm surprised one hasn't yet." He said mimicking her insults.

"Oh my vision you say? There's nothing wrong with that, I just keep it on so I don't blow every ounce of life out of this pathetic planet... Here let me show you a taste of TRUE power."

The monster dropped both reavers and a loud crunch could be heard, obviously the reavers were heavier than they let on! In fact, They actually cracked  the ground beneath the weight. The creature then gripped the blind fold and ripped it off, causing his muscles to expand even further and two huge wings to sprout from his back. His tattoos pouring green light and energy out of them. His eyes bleeding with fiery green. His body even appeared to make him taller as his legs became even more closely related to a satyrs. His finger tips expanding as his teeth drastically sharpened to monstrous effects. The final change being his head, from which two enormous horns grew as blood trickled from the holes they expanded from...

"Are you not entertained?"

The beasts massive wings flapped and he sprung forth with massive speed, attempting to grab her by the throat and throw her up above the rubbled tower with immense physical strength!

Kia started to step backwards as he threw.... so many insults right back at her. She screwed up BIG time, she didn't know that she would hurt him this much. Now was a good time to run away and endure her older sister's nagging, she didn't care if her chest was burning from the new-formed scars or if she had a big-ass bruise on her left elbow she just wanted to get away from this lunatic and go home. As she stumbled under the new cracks under the ground she would start to think, Didn't he know how kids acted these days? Or was he from the ancient times? From his speech on her losing her virginity to a young boy on a Gummi ship, it was interpreted that he wasn't old nor ancient.

As soon as she turned around and tried to sprint away, the stranger grabbed her by the throat. "Please... don't kill me... It was just a harmless joke..." She managed to say while chocking, she stretched her arms as if she was trying to fly away from the stranger like a pitiful pigeon who was just captured without warning and she looked damn silly while doing it.

When he threw her, she closed her eyes and felt herself floating. Was this what it felt like to die? To drift away peacefully? She sighed and let her head tilt back and slowly started to lift her arms from her sides. "This feels nice.." She said with a little smile. Dying definitely didn't feel melancholy it was just so peaceful.. The wind whistled in her ears and the flapping of wings were also heard, but the smell of rubber and ashes from the destroyed castle was enough to make the young girl's eyes water/ she could get use to this until she felt herself falling.

It went by so quickly, she started screaming and looked down scanning for anything to break her fall but there was nothing but the debris of the castle. She fell right next to a cloaked figure.. An entity maybe? "Angel," She called out to it, trying to reach for it's cloak. "Am I dead?"

Re: The Fault in Our Cars (Open)

Post by Alexander on September 24th 2014, 8:42 pm

The girl sailed threw the air, flying towards Alexander as his neon eyes fixated on her. He didn't flinch, didn't even move as the screaming girl landed with a hard thud upon the roof. She landed in the rubble, clearly injured from the impact as she looked over at him. She spoke softly, the defiance no longer resent in her voice. Had she accepted it so easily? Courage could easily be confused with death-seeking. His eyes fell upon her as they examined her form, as though to remind her they'd met. Her next words all but confirmed she was dazed, maybe even had a concussion.

He didn't correct her when she identified him as an angel. Instead, he answered her question. "Not yet." The voice was monotone, sounding almost bored with the situation at hand. Yet, it did some interest in this else it would not be here. The figure's metal hand clasped the young girl's. Instead of a reassuring statement, it merely said, "Taunting a foe is only a good idea if they are your strength or weaker." He stood up, releasing the hand gently to let it loose into the air. "And never a good idea until you can confirm their strength."

Alexander stood to full height, the metallic nature of his arm gleaming somewhat in the light. An audible sigh echoed from the roof. "Yet did I not think that giants so aggressively attacked those that were but bugs to them." His neon gaze settled upon the figure. "Clearly you are insecure. Such meager taunts to inflame your rage- if you are so powerful, why wallow in insecurity? It is not befitting. It is demeaning. It means that though strong in body, you are weak in mind and emotion."

Alexander motioned to the injured girl. "I would say that no matter the outcome, she is the clear victor. With arrogance feigned and fear earnest, she still stood up to you. Perhaps physically she is your inferior. However, that can be easily rectified. But in terms of character? You will most certainly always remain her's as long as you are ruled by your complexes." He didn't say this angrily, or condescendingly. He spoke in an even tone, as though he were a professor droning on in lecture, not entirely thrilled to be involved himself.

"A stranger lending advice is often ignored," he went on, "so recognize me as a fellow predator instead. A creature of baleful origins, so cast from the sight of gods simply because I was born to be their undoing. Accept this advice, and do what you will with it. But I do make the guarantee that this one will come to no further harm. I have decided to stake claim to her ferocious spirit. I will not give you the opportunity to contest this claim." Alexander did cast a door made of pure, glittering light behind him. It then became clear: he intended to take the girl, and leave to... someplace.

As the creatures eyes made contact with the young man, he grinned a bit. The boy showed no raw darkness; but his tone alone hinted something. The horned beast clenched his fists. This one had a mouth, a big one. "Foolish human... You dare contest with a superior being? You dare say you are the fall of a god? I would doubt it, you exhibit something. But wherever it is... Was even less impressive than the young girl's insults. By which case, do you even have authority to call on another's emotions? You detest someone without knowing a thing they've endured. As if you've endured worse. Tck... Humans."

The demon willed the reavers to his body, and in a quick swipe, cut the air twice. Causing two green lines to appear infront of the man. A sudden attack, but thanks to its quickness it would be hard to avoid. In fact because him not making it into a longer combination; it would be much quicker than one were to assume. He smiled up at the creature, weary of the untold skill. But also eager to find out what was there at all. If not darkness... Then what power in this universe could make one so confident? The question echoed in his ears as he watched.

The attack slashed across Alexander's chest and he staggered back, his cloak now hanging open and in ribbons across the wound. Alexander did stagger back from the blow briefly, as if in pain. For a second, he stood silent, before he started to laugh. Blood ran thick from underneath the cloak, a thick black substance that made the air smell of corroded copper. His neon eyes didn't even flinch as the blow was delivered though- clearly the knock-back was for show. "Ow," he said in his monotone voice as he pulled the cloak open at the tear, revealing the gash. It was long and dark, but at the same time was growing smaller quite rapidly.

Alexander let the tear back to where it had been, bouncing slightly against his skin and flopping forwards away from his body. The metallic arm scrapped some of the black liquid off of the cloak and examined it, grinding it's fingers together as it smeared the substance before wiping it away on it's side. "I never once claimed to be human," he stated returning to his neutral position. "How presumptuous. I also never claimed to hold you in contempt. All I claimed was that you had issues. In short: an superiority complex. I don't have to know you to recognize obvious overcompensation when I see it, just like I don't have to know you to recognize that you have purple skin. It's a trait, nothing more."

Those neon eyes glowed and glimmered in the blackness of the hood as he now turned away from him, kneeling down to lift Kia up in his arms. "This one is mine," he proclaimed to the creature. "And be wary. Surprise attacks only work once." He was now very much aware of his surroundings, so much so that he would be not only expecting a counter attack but preparing for one. The gateway of light behind him edged forward as he stepped backwards into it, the doorway consuming him completely. "I would fight you," his voice seemed to echo as he left the area. "But I don't usually dirty my own hands with the activity."

The monster roared in anger, he was tired of these pathetic creatures talking shit! Now it was truly on! He would wipe the all from the surface of the universe! Starting with those two motherfuckers! As the neon blue eyes boy continued to speak the monster shot into the air with a single flap of his wings, the sheer muscle sending him upwards into the air where he visually took an image of the man.

This cloaked imbecile would one day see hell as a real thing. His regeneration was powerful; but there were ways around that. Foolish fools... Did he really think he was the first species to have such an ability? "You. Will. Die... I will make sure of it... No one humilates another especially with insults and attacks on another's past... You my dear lad, will burn in my hell for eternity. This day you escape, but... Don't expect me to spare you or the girls miserable life next time." With that he sliced the air under him and dropped into a green void. Disappearing from the site; leaving the damaged Gummi ship in the past.

Kia heard voices, yet her vision was distorted and everyone and everything were funny shapes. The girl kept trying to wake up but she just couldn't... Once she was lifted up, she saw her staff laying on the ground right next to the monster she insulted earlier, "Wait, my staff...." She said to the person carrying her, wondering if it was her sister.. But when she saw a bright light, she passed out..
