11.1.2017 - Kingdom Hearts RP is now closed. We'd like to thank everyone who invested time on the site for contributing to a wonderful experience which lasted for many years. All stories must eventually end, but while this may seem bittersweet, it can't be stressed enough what a pleasure it was to create and share them with you all. Goodbye everyone.

Thanks to the efforts of Valerie Dreamsail, Aria Yamasaki, and Lenneth and his army of prinnies, the plantlife and flora of Neverland has been restored to its former lushness and vibrancy. This regrowth began when Lenneth summoned a shower of rain to moisten the earth, followed by the raking and digging of the soil by the large company of talking penguins. The prinnies and their master proceeded to spread various species of seeds across the island, which were aided in a magical growth with both Aria's and Valerie's skills. With the combined abilities of all the involved parties, as well as some help from Father Time, the forests, jungles, and other plants had grown much thicker than they had been before the Day of Fire and Rebirth. Several days, weeks, and months have passed since then, and the wildlife has slowed to its normal growth rate.

The Temple of the Firebird
Neverland is proud to announce the completed construction and grand opening of the Temple of the Firebird, a monument dedicated to lives lost during the Day of Fire and Rebirth. The Temple is located on top the crater that was created from Onyx’s magma attack, in the mid-southwest of the island. The crater itself has been covered so that the building is able to sit upon it. A domed structure sits upon a square base on the foundation, supported by four spherical triangular pendentives. Each pendentive is also supported by buttresses.
The dome itself has forty ribs and is made of a special Neverland rock mined from its mountains, held together by a mortar-like compound synthesized by the Piccaninny tribe. A glass-covered occulus can be found at the very apex of the dome. This, along with with the forty windows placed around the base of the dome, reflects light everywhere on the interior of the nave and gives the dome the appearance of floating above it. The interior of the dome is decorated with a mosaic describing the events that occurred on the Day of Fire and Rebirth--notably, the battle between the dark dragon Ndabe Zithe and the fairy dragon Glauben, Gottheit der Nie Nie Landen. Between them, Trixie the Pixie hovers with her arms outstretched, representing the sacrifice she made to halt the attack. An image of the Firebird flies above them all, spreading her healing magic throughout the mural.
Other images can be found throughout the temple. A boy garbed in green is seen to be flying with a fairy and three other children: a girl in a blue dress, a boy in a top hat, and a boy clutching stuffed bear toy. In another scene, the boy in green is pictured sparring a pirate in a red coat and with a hook for a hand. The same man is shown fleeing from a large, green crocodile in fear. A flying pirate ship can also be seen in another mosaic, though it is not the same as Kenos' Second Star.
The floor of the temple is decorated with a detailed map of Neverland, although the very center is covered by a cylindrical altar. On top of this altar lies three blue-white feathers cushioned by a velvet pillow. A glass dome, reinforced with a magical barrier, protects these relics from being stolen. All around the room, the names all of those who had given up their lives to protect the island are etched onto silver rectangular plaques. These plaques circle the entire room on the walls.
Four large, Neverwood doors serve as entrances and exits to the temple, each one facing a cardinal direction. A smaller door has been built within each to account for ease of access; none of them have any locks and typically remain open for all of the day. Marble steps circle the perimeter of the temple and lead up to the dome. The exterior of the temple is decorated with statues and friezes depicting Fairies, Pirates, Lost Children, Mermaids, and Indians.
